  • I think everyone should take a moment in reading a rather eye opening article about a man named W. Cleon Skousen recently featured in Salon.

Or, just do some of your own research on W. Cleon Skousen, and make your own conclusions.

I think a lot of folks should ask themselves: "Is this really the kind of stuff I want to be part of?"

  • imsocuteable: We were complaining before--we were just doing it in our living rooms, now we're complaining in public!

  • to imsocuteable: 8 years ago we did not face the danger of losing the constitutional republic.

  • Because they were alseep and now they are awakening :)

  • Where were all these people the past 8 years? Why are they just now complaining?

  • OK, Bush spent tons of cash = bad. Lots of Dems pushing that btw.

Obama is spending twice if not three times the cash and has NO plans to repay it.

The Gov has to cut back.

  • Yeah, it's not like Obama had a financial crisis of historical proportions to deal with the day Bush handed over the keys. What choice did Obama have? What would have been a better response?

  • 1- My conservative friends and I were not fans of Bush either.

2- The crisis was and is 'caused' by Freddie, Fannie and the CRA removing risk from the mortgage market just to get more homes sold.

3 - the "emergency" Stimulas Bill that congress voted on without reading - has had only 10% of funds released - nice emergency there! most of the cash won't be released until next year (an election year)

GOV spends our money to make mistakes and then uses our money to fix those mistakes.
