@purdyjemma Thanks :) they do BE80T now with basic DR test, 80cm SJ with two at 85cm, and 80cm XC. There's also a BE accredited coach there to help you walk courses and warm up for both phases :) x
Ha, from the show jumps I thought this was great witchingham! Well done - how did you get on? the size of that table in the xc actually made me gasp, it's H-U-G-E!! :) xx
I think they hire the jumps from the same company :)
If you click on the link in description it comes up with a report on the horse and hound forum :)
Haha I was so scared of it when I went last year - it was my first novice and seemed ENORMOUS. Didn't look quite as bad second time round! It actually jumps quite well :) This was only his 3rd novice bless him! x
Yes we do :) he's not doing much really :( I'm tempted to take him to Houghton Hall International for the Eventers Grand Prix - the winner is the fastest, and you only get time added for a pole down. I think he'd love it and be really good at it...Got to convince Mum!
ooooh did u go there too? i will watch vid later am waaay busy now, 2 ppl from my yard competed, were u against ollie townend? 1 of ppl frm my yard was, think she had to retire tho :/
yer twas emily, i dunno why she retired tho nt seen her since she got back, will spk to her laters probs. dyaknow her then? also dya compete against lauren dolby at all? coz she did this event too, but havent got a clue what class
I've known Emily for yonks - my first pony was her cousin Lauren's pony, Annie :) And vaguely know Lauren Dolby, yeah. She would be in the Pre-Novice. Have never competed against her though.
No, it was the Junior Regional Novice at Burnham Market. It's a novice event specifically for U18's. It's run at novice specification, so 1.10m SJ with two at 1.15m. XC is also 1.10m, Burnham has always got a reputation for being a big track though. I'm aiming him for one star this summer hopefully!!
You awesome! Hope I enter into the eventing world with my youngster 1day x
