I've loved Op Ivy since 1990 when I heard a bunch of their songs on the "This is not the new H-STREET Video" skate video. If you haven't seen it check it out. Its old but still good. They have the whole 30 min video on youtube.

I love that there was a band singing this song in 06. It makes me have a little faith in mankind/human spirit...blah blah blah. I think my fav thing about rancid is their politics and philosophy. So refreshing. A nice warm stable to return to.

the drummer needs to calm teh fuck down, yeah hes talented but he's replacing a part of a the band not making a new part. I wish brett never left but damn that guy just needs to calm down a bit, he does have a lot of presence though

They asked Branden to join for five main reasons. 1) Bret left leaving a hole in the band. 2. Branden is a friend of the band 3. Branden's style fits in with the bands jumping around and full on stage presented show. 4. Branden grew up idolizing the band 5. Branden is a good drummer.

He's going great. I love it. I miss Bret, but I'm happy they got Branen along

It's alot the peppers, Hillel (The old guitarist) Died in 89, 10 years into the band. Then Frusciante Joined, I'm sure people didnt like it then, but now no one can see them without frusciante.
