Ok, I have to say this. Nori Bucci is my favorite female guitarist. If you are going to play fast licks, the very least you can do is play with taste and style, like Zappa or Blackmore. There is too much shredding for the sake of speed in what people refer to as "music" these days for my liking. However, Nori and this band Gamalon, are truly Great because there is flavor in the taste of the music. Thanks Gamalon.

Bucci is most definitely Italian. Gamalon is a Buffalo (NY) band- jazz fusion. This fits the bill. Anybody...is this the Gamalon? They used to be the "house band" at CPG. If you're in the know, you'll know. No poseurs. She is fantastic; I've been watching her vids 4 awhile. If she's from hooterville- my n/n 4 bflo- I'm SoBflo b/b....

Gigs at the Central Park Grill ended over a year ago. Nori is not presently playing with Gamalon; neither is Bruce B. Ted (on drums) along with fellow musicians are still gigging around the Buffalo, NY area. I really miss the band as it was several years ago....

Too bad there's nothing left of Gamalon as many know it: with George Puleo or with Nori Bucci. And she is doing her own vocal thing these days which is not too interesting imho. She could be with the Paul Gilberts, Steve Vais, Travis Larsons, Carl Roa, DC Slater, John Petrucci, etc etc if she set her mind to it.

Great stuff, my only niggle is her vibrato is really short and fast and it sounds like Kirk Hammett's vibrato which isn't the best out there. Easily over looked and with a bit of attention easily ironed out.. Good Luck with your music Nori x

I've been a Gamalon fan since the late 80's and have really enjoyed all the different players they've used through the years.. George, Bruce and Tony are all amazing guitarists and fit well in the band, but man, Nori is just fantastic. She can shred with the best of them, but yet has such a nice touch as well. LOVE this video B, thanks for sharing~

i was at this show too. it was probably one of the best shows that i seen of these guys. bruce really shined this night... i was actually more impressed with him on this particular night. at one point during the shpw, the bass drum was mixed too loud and they hd to start the song over. bruce was yellin at the sound guy , he was pissed.
