nah, they have an annoying tendancy to spin around, so you have to weigh them down a lil bit, once you learn em, i guess they are as easy to fly, only like 10-15 mins per 30 mins charge

I just got one last night from Radioshack. I would recommend this because it can go forward/backward. The Havoc Heli can not, it can only go forward if you weigh the front of it.

it could be that it's not getting a full charge, try completely draining the battery and charging it again.If thata doesn't work then you might have a bad battery.

well take off vertically and if it spins anti clockwise press the R button and see press it until the helicopter can stay fairly balanced without being turned by the tourqe (opposite for it if it is spinning clockwise)

Mine must be different from yours. I have a center knob to turn that corrects the torque spin. Then I don't have any hands left for the right control lever. This thing sure is fun though.

for me, it was a sinch, charge it, turn it on,, get it to low revs so it shows which way it is going to fly, adjust it accordingly, fly it around the room, annoy brother (cause I can fly it better than him, and it is his toy!) hit something, bring it back under control, execute a perfect 4 point landing.

all those wasted hours playing flight sim have payed off!

If you bought a genuine Mosquito from Radio Shack you can also buy an AC adapter for your charger to save yourself from buying 6 "C" batteries every week.

the things sensitive. you have to lightly move it to the left and to the right in your manual (or here the "interactivetoy" site.) it gives some tips on how to fly it. also the trim on the remote is a big help, get the chopper hovering steady first then do your turns and back n forword movements, it gets simple after some time

you need to fly this in an area, like an indoor room where the air is steady and flowing calmly for the best results for this rc. I think $70 is a little too expensive for this product but it stablizes great and maneuvers/hover really great.

I have owned an old fashion R/C fuel powered heli that was about 3 feet long and cost around $2,000. it was a bitch to fly. The technology in these new ones include stabilization programs that make it 100 times easier to fly. You have no idea how much difference the program makes it. I was amazed the first time I saw one of these new ones being effortlessly flown around a room. If you ever get the chance, try flying an old one. You will instantly crash it if it isnt tethered.

I bought one here in Canada at The Source (formly Radio Shack). I am very happy with it and it is a lot of fun. Flying time is a good 7 minutes (that is excellent). The only thing that is pretty tricky is to get it to fly forward and backward because of the rotation (turning left or right of the helicopter). This has to be done every so often. The helicopter is strictly an indoor helicopter, any slight draft will set it of course. Conclusion, fun toy, highly recommended!
