a conference championship is definitely reachable in a couple years.. im not a fan of ur "every other year" theory though...

@d0xit0 I was wrong. June only had 2 losing seasons (2000 and 2005) while leading Hawaii to 7 winning seasons. Hawaii win/loss record by season: 1999: 9-4, 2000: 3-9, 2001: 9-3, 2002: 10-4, 2003: 9-5, 2004: 8-5, 2005: 5-7, 2006: 11-3, 2007: 12-1. Even though SMU didn't do too well under June in 2008 (1-11), June did lead the SMU to an 8-5 record and a Hawaii Bowl win in 2009 and a 7-7 record, losing in the C-USA championship game and the Armed Forces Bowl in 2010. 2011 def. holds potential.

@d0xit0 They killed Nevada in the Hawaii Bowl. Maybe a conference championship is reachable in a year or 2? Personally I'm thinking that SMU will have a losing season in 2010 followed by a 9 - 10 win season in 2011 as that was how Hawaii was like when June was there. For some reason Hawaii seemed to do well every other year with Jones at the helm (excluding the 2007 undefeated season which came after a successful 2006).
