@DudeWheresMyDeLorean Thanks for your comment- Blind Blake and Mississippi John Hurt are probably the two past-generation guitarists that I enjoy listening to most. I suggest Bob Brozman and Mike Dowling for current players. And Victor Wooten (bass) taught me more about right-hand technique than anyone!

That's awesome man! Ragtime is so addictive to play I love it. You should learn some Tommy Johnson, or maybe some Lightning Hopkins amazingly fun to play, not to mention they have some epic songs though they're not exactly ragtime. Look up lightning Hopkins - Baby Please Don't Go see what you think. Anyways keep shredding that guitar and hopefully maybe I've opened you up to the world of fingerstyle blues cause I know I wouldn't be the same without it

I am 63 now and would probably be able to play in your style. Have you seen that great French jazz guitarist, Bireli Lagrene play?

You would love him. He uses a pick and I may have to use one myself if I want to play again.

It's called "Deptfort Cakewalk" and I only knew a version played by Rick Payne so far, who also has the tabs for it in one of his courses
