I love this product, I've been using it for years and just like you my skin is way more manageable, bright, and smooth. I recommend this to all my friends!!!!
@MzChelxoxo Mine usually lasts a while. I generally go through a value sized bottle in about 3 months or so. I would think if you go with the large/value size (depending on how many times per day or week you use it) you may use 3 bottles over the course of 6 months. But you don't have to replace it, the product shouldn't go bad over that time period. :)
my skin is normally pretty clear (for teenager's skin), but as soon as i started using this, my skin started breaking out. i normally get pimples on my forehead. none there, but aaaall over my temples and my jawline. really sucks this doesnt work for me , wish it would :(
@SubwayDynamite I'm sorry to hear that. I've also tried the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Scrub (Hypoallergenic - orange colored), it's definitley milder and very good. You may want to check out their line of scrubs. They have several to choose from based on your skin's needs. You may also have a skin sensitivity to Salycilic Acid. If you are only wanting the 'scrub effect' try to look for a milder scrub with a cleanser in it versus acne fighting additives. Hope it helps! :)))
@dancingartist66 Oh that sounds good too! I will have to check that one out for sure. Pomegranate is loaded with Vitamin C and K so it is wonderful for the skin!
i bought this and my cheeks and chin (wear i focus the cleanser) are starting to break out..i just bought it and im upset its making me breakout mostly becuase i spent 10 dollars on it. do you have any other recommendations for me? im younger so im trying to look for a softer cleanser that will clear my blackheads and acne. thanks!
@dancingartist66 You may have had an allergic reaction. However, if this is the first time you've used an abrasive scrub or you've never used salicylic acid, you may also just be unusually sensitive to it. If you do try to use it again and you continue to have problems try something like Clean and Clear's Foaming Facial Wash for Sensitive Skin or Purpose Cleanser (both are non abrasive).
@JustinBieber4496oxo I agree with the other commenter, you may have had an allergic reaction. Some people can use certain products while others cannot. However, if this is the first time you've ever used an abrasive scrub on your skin, or you have never used salicylic acid, you may also just be very sensitive to it because you are introducing new ingredients into your skincare routine. If you do try to use it again and you continue to have problems you may want to try a more sensitive product.
The instruction says to add water to it. So after I squeeze out some on my hand I pour some water on it then rub it into my face. I'm just saying because many people complain about this scrub being too rough, but I didn't have any problems with that because I added the water.
@potatogal97 I wanted to double check the bottle I have, and the product information on the Neutrogena website. Although it is oil free I do not believe this product is non-comedogenic. Usually Neutrogena will list this type of information on the site and the package if the product is, but this one mentions nothing about it.
@bluelink8 I just wash my entire face with it (avoiding my eyes) and by the time I am through working my way around I wash it off. I dont normally let it set any longer than it takes to wash my full face. :)
I have complicated skin lol...I have Season Changing Combination Skin...thats what my dermatologist said...My skin is SUPER OILY in the summer, SUPER DRY in the winter...regular comination in the spring and normal in the fall..ya complicated! I loved your review!
@TheSatisfyingSarah The product info says it is safe to use 2x daily, but I use it once a day or every other day. I think it would depend on your skin type. Mine is combination skin (T-zone), I also have very sensitive skin as well. It's great for taking off makeup just don't get the grains in your eyes, it hurts if you do! It feels like sand bits. For your eye area I would just use your regular makeup remover, for the rest of the face it does an awesome job of taking off makeup. Hope it helps!
@mrsmaquilla I don't have acne marks but I do have two small chicken pox scars. I didn't notice any change in those so I don't think this will reduce the appearance of acne scarring. It should help smooth your other skin out though. Be sure to give your skin time to adjust. It actually took about 2 weeks before this really started to work for me. Good luck! I hope it works for you :) Thanks for commenting!

Okay, I was just wondering... is it non-comedogenic? Because my dermatologist said I should use non-comedogenic cleansers since my face is oily.
