@KhylerNevra This show was recorded before some of the lyrics that actually ended up on the studio version were written, so it has some different lyrics, "prototype" lyrics maybe. The concept of the story is still the same.

Great perfomance! But I like the studio version more, because Daniel does some incredible singing in the instrumental part of this perfomance; from 2.17 to the end of the song.

He doesn't do that live, which is kinda really dissapointing, becuase the singing melodies and his voice in that part are incredibly crazy!

They focus more on the fantasical and symphonic style of metal, whereas Pain of Salvation has their own complex philosophical style in comparison. To judge one better than the other is not really possible. It'd be like comparing Dream Theater to Blind Guardian; they're just different in how they play, and what basis their songs/albums have.

The lyrics are a bit different because this live act was recorded BEFORE they entered studio for the "Be" sessions, so as you can imagine, Gildenlow thought that it´s lyrics could be improved. They played this live set in their hometown, Skilstuna.

In the audio comment of the dvd daniel explains that he still worked on some of the lyrics when they played the show, so this is kind of a pre-version, he has not forgotten anything, anyway, it all doesn't matter right? we dont't want to be the "music-police" who points out every little possible mistake (that's what I hate about prog-music, that the fans always have to argue "there was a mistake" "no it was right" etc.)
