dude! i didn't like The tourist at all! i had seen this first and then i watched The tourist and i was so damn bummed out! i was like why? why?! u_u

i loved "Anthony Zimmer", full of action, good acting and awesomeness. kept me on edge till the end. and The tourist was one bad remake. and i feel bad cuz i love Johnny! -_-

Cannot compare with the original. Plus, notice how beautiful Marceau is in simple clothing and minimum of makeup. Could not see Angelina through the red red lips and the false eyelashes...

@vosges11 You can say that again. Angelina Jolie ruined the character in the US version. Also, The Tourist removed nearly all the good parts of Anthony Zimmer and replaced them with pointless action scenes and overblown props.

"Antony Zimmer" is the Original, a French movie.

"The Tourist" is the American remake of that French movie :)

The Tourist will be a Hollywood spin on it, and it's helmed Director Florian Henckel-Donnersmarck who's great work includes The Lives of Others. So it's got the right qualifying set staff for a successful film. I'm excited!

that's a pity! the original version are always the best! sorry coz the director and actors are great, but french version is good and I don't undestand why european cinema don't sell movies in the USA with subs like in others country, and why american cinema becomes so poor (like french too!) to buy an other movie instead to create one!

@minsulisa i think it's political greed...hollywood wants to make all the money. there are many european and asian movies that are very original but they don't want to show them. i think whoever is responsible for showing movies thinks the us audience would not like to read subtitled movies. i believe the exact opposite they need to try it and give the us audience a chance.
