I think he's a horrible singer. Its good to see artists still trying to keep funk alive though.

I think he does a lot of justice to the funk genre, because he manages to combine virtuosity and songwriting in a sophisticated way. Saying that, i'm not in a good position to assess his stuff, because I have unfortunately only heard 2 songs, but that is the impression i get from what I have seen
