It is difficult to teach singers, even good ones, to sing in such tight harmony. It is less difficult for the Isaacs because they are a family singing group - the children grew up singing together. This effect may have been increased by the fact that the children are close together in age. They are also similar in their regional speaking voice accents, which carries over to their singing voices.
Thank you Judith for your comment , I'm so glad I got to meet them I've listened to them for years. My Aunt went on a cruise with the Gaithers a few years ago [ What A Dream That Would Be]
Wow...well I also would go on a cruise with them all.....next year Ernie Haase and Signature Sound are coming here and...The Isaacs!! Go to both concerts....fantastic...
Last saturday I went to sa concert with Woody Wright and Stephen Hill, beautifull...regards from oversea...
How wonderful ! I love to listen Stephen also, We don't get many Gaither's concerts here. I do remember one but my husband was so sick I was unable to go.
My Aunt lives in Kansas and attends Mike Purkey's church.
I think this is my favorite Isaacs song...it's so hard to pick though. Becky and Sonya Isaac's blended voices are so angelic yet so passionate in this track. The arrangement leading up and through the chorus is absolutely chilling...just cuts through you and commands your attention and obedience...amazing.
I enjoy this song more that any other that The Isaacs perform at their concerts. They sing it with so much sincerity. The words "...go free, you're the one I'm dying for" are the most blessed words ever spoken to a Christian. And, those words belong to anyone who asks for forgiveness and eternal life. Jesus Christ died for each of us, regardless of our sin. Praise God!
