Farrah Fawcett Funeral (Breaking News)

I was at Farrah's grave a couple of days ago.

There was a Cherly at Farrah funeral but it was long time friend and former poster rival Cherly Tiegs. Cherly Ladd and Farrah were never friends. They were polite on the set during Farrah return to "Charlies Angles" after Arron Spelling sued Farrah for breaching her contract. (a contract Farrah never signed) Farrah told Barbara Walter the situation was painful going back to the show and that it was a professional relationship at best working with Cherly Ladd. Ladd was hired to replace Farrah.

@settle4more I'm quite familiar with what happened with Farrah and her contract with Charlie's Angels. I had 3 Farrah posters, 3 Jaclyn's, 2 Cheryl's, 1 Shelley, 2 Lynda's etc. lol When Farrah came back the 3rd season to "fulfill" her contract, she was paid for 6 episodes at $150K each (nobody knew for years). I'm not saying that her and Cheryl were "best buds", but I'm sure they saw each other at Jaclyn's on an occasion. Lee wanted Farrah to leave the show to spend time with him.

I forgot the amount but I knew Farrah earned more from the out of court settlement had she would have made had she stayed the entire 5 years on "Charlies Angles". Farrah & Cherly had a professional one. Farrah resented Cherly from the begging and those feeling never changed. Cherly was younger, blond with more curves then Farrah. Arron Spelling knew he had a woman who had as much plus a bit to bring to the trio. I'm sure Farrah didn't like that.

@settle4more Well, I could be wrong, but I really was under the impression that Farrah and Cheryl were friends. Cheryl was beautiful, but Farrah was spectacular. I love them both. They felt whoever they hired wouldn't be received warmly, but In replacing Farrah, they felt, "how can you hate the kid sister of someone that you love?" Farrah and Jaclyn were making $5K an episode and Kate $10K an episode. Farrah asked for a raise, but Aaron was too cheap to give her one. Lee wanted her at home.

The first season all three co-stars made the same figure. Kate may have made a bit more having co-starred in "The Rookies"?(another Arron Spelling production) Farrah felt the scripts on "Charlies Angles" were lousy and she  did n't like doing the series..... She had enormous fame by the end of the first season and Farrah wanted to do films. Lee Major was a factor also but not a deciding one according to Farah as she told Phil Donahue in 1979.

@settle4more The 1st season all 3 co-stars did NOT make the same $. Jaclyn and Farrah both made $5K an episode while Kate made $10K, and it's also because Kate helped inspire the show. BTW, I'm very familiar with The Rookies, and I watched it every Monday night. Lee was certainly a factor. He wanted his wife home making his dinner, and if your wife looked like Farrah, who wouldn't? lol Farrah wanted more money. They s/h given it to her. Re: the scripts, Farrah liked her K&J & the show.

Your so full of crap! Kate may have made a bit more money but Farrah came out the winner even have left the show after one ground breaking season. Farrah & Kate hated the thin scripts and Farrah resented the scrimpy outfits. When Farrah came back she refused to wear a bathing suit even though her first scene with replacement Cherly Ladd was on the beach. Also, right after her Charlies Angles stint, Farrah began a multi million dollar deal and starred in 3 unsuccessful films.

I thought we were having pleasant exchanges, but I guess I was wrong. FYI, Kate made $10K a show and Farrah and Jaclyn $5K. I already knew that Kate didn't want Cheryl involved in reunions. If Farrah and Kate hated the scripts, as other actors and actresses sometimes do, they s/n/h signed to begin with.

@settle4more Also, Re: the scripts, I'm not in agreement because if you want to talk about lousy scripts, then let's talk "Sunburn" and "Saturn 3". They must have paid Farrah big for Saturn 3. I saw it at the movies, and her boob popped out in the movie! It's in there or out there depending on how you look at it. LOL I know she got acclaim for "Burning Bed" and "Extremeties", but those movies made her look ugly. Her Mom said "It's not another movie where they make you ugly again is it?"

@settle4more At the TV Land Awards this year, Charlie's Angels won the Pop Culture Award. In Chery'ls speech, she said "Jaclyn, you know we were not just a cast. We were a family, and we were friends" Cheryl thanked Aaron, David, John and then she said " to my beautiful big sister, the amazing Farrah Fawcett". It sounds like they were friends to me. Jaclyn said "I would like to dedicate this award to them, and I know that Cheryl joins me and Kate, and Tanya and Shelley". Very cool!

Cherly Ladd is a Christian bible thumper and did say those things you mentioned giving the impression they were friends but trust me there was no love coming from Farrah to Cherly, EVER!!!! Kate despised Cherly and did not want her included in the 2006 Emmy reunion to show creator Arron Spelling. Poor Cherly felt left out once again. Oh, well she was not part of the original cast.

Cherly Ladd did not attend the funeral. Oddly, Regarding Cherly Ladd, Farrah & Cherly Ladd had an icy relationship and on my "Charlies Angle" events over the years, Farrrah refused to have her picture taken with Cherly Ladd. It's always Kate, Farrah and Jacklyn noted as the stars of Charlies Angles. In fact when asked teens today thought Farrah Fawcett was the star and the other ladies co-starred on the show. Funny because Farrah split after only one VERY memorable and historic season.

Yep. She was an amazing woman! I am still fumed that the Academy Awards left her out of the star that passed on last year. Farrah did 17 films.

@settle4more You're right. It's always Kate, Farrah and Jaclyn; however, that's the way that Kate likes it. Cheryl and Farrah got along fine, and they were friends. Kate wasn't very receptive when Cheryl came in as the new Angel replacing Farrah. Are you sure that Cheryl wasn't there? It was my understanding that she was at the funeral.

It is true that Lee Majors and Ryan O'Neal were good friends, but for all intents and purposes, Lee and Farrah were separated when she and Ryan began dating. Lee actually told Ryan to call and ask her out while he was away filming on location. She said in an interview that when she asked Lee did he really tell him to ask her out, he said "Yes, but I didn't think you would go." Farrah responded "Well, I'm going." The rest is history.

I am glad that we at least have some footage on Farrah's funeral. She was a great lady and put up a big fight for her life. She should have gotten more coverage in the news, everything is just about M.J., way to much. He was a great artist, but his death was accidental and very fast, he did not suffer for years. Farrah on the other hand did, and I for once would have liked to see that the news media picked up on that more. I have a sister dying of cancer, so I know how tragic it is. R.I.P.Farrah

I was very disapointed to see that neither Cher nor Jaclyn Smith where at Farrah's funeral?? Ive read reports that put Smith there but not one with Cher attending. Both these stars where very vocal thru out Farrahs battle, I was very suprised to hear that neither where there. As far as some of the other stars that where...Cheryl Tiegs? Marla Maples? Joan Collins?..Ive followed Farrah's life for over 20yrs and NEVER heard of any association with any of those women?

About the only thing Farrah & Michael Jackson had in common was that they both had botched plastic surgery. Farrah finally got it right and looked healthy again @ the 2006 Emmy awards with fellow angles Kate Jackson & Jackie Smith. Then a month later she discovered she had cancer. Like can be so cruel. I will miss her terribly!
