the sim card has all of your contacts, and personalinfo on it. it allows you to switch between phones, whenever and whereever you want. Its no only in smartphones, all ATT phones have them

Its not just for smartphones its for any phone on a GSM network .. like att or tmobile ... To sum it up it has your phone number on it ...

All Att and Tmobile phones have them.

Verizon, Sprint, Alltel doesn't have them because they use a diffrent kind of network.

Sim Card phones are better. When you travel

buy a sim card from a store and put it in your phone. No roaming charges.
