what recording software do you use, and where can you get it?

for this song, i used Apple's Logic Express for the Mac.

I also use Cakewalk's Sonar on the PC.

if you are new to recording...you'll need more than the software. i've been recording since 2003 so getting this sound took quite some time and some schooling.

i've been recording for a while now also, and I'm taking a class for using garageband, but i have gotten shitty programs that required me to buy new updates and shit. I'm gonna get a mac and get their programs now.

garageband is an ultra-watered-down version of logic. it runs only on mac. the learning curve is steeper than other DAW's but it's pretty decent.
