If your car was a cat d write off it would have had minimal impact damage

The impact was probably so minor that the ecu would have not deployed either the seatbelt pre-tensioners or airbags

Cat a severe damage, vehicle to be destroyed

Cat b severe damage, vehicle may be dismantled for parts

Cat c major damage,Vehicle may be repaired but must be inspected before returned to the road

Cat d minor damage<vehicle can be repaired

My car is 3years old, well a 1.4 56plate, clocked 14000miles, within that time its had a new engine, new front suspension, new PAS pump and a broken parcel shelf. lucky all done under warrenty but how can anyone call that a good car?

Fiat have improved a lot from ten years ago. The age of rusting italian cars has stoped with the fiat tipo fro there on italien cars are 70% galvanised.

still british climate for me implies bad weather which eventualy leads to rust. Still I dnt agree with you on the build quality, ok its not a golf. The only thing i can say is that i`ve owned one since 2006 and traveled the whole of italy to france and back twice and I haven't any issues and btw, I maltese. I have nothing to complain the engine is great for its capacity and very revvy, also the interior is good overall its a gd ppls car.
