  • Rule the tube 2010 – CAuse you CA

Paste and watch this video, you will want to become an accountant

  • Nice Video! If any of you CPA's need a cost basis calculator, please visit us at Net Basis.

  • If I get a major in actuarial science, but don't make it there, can I use that degree as a CPA? I won't be able to afford going back to college.

  • hi guys...i need ur advice...i'm doing my bachelor degree in accounting at the moment and i'm not sure if i wanna get the CPA certificate afterwards...do you guys think i should take the CPA course?? it is an option given from my school

do i really get a better job if i'm a CPA holder?

  • I think you should not only get your CPA but get your CMA because CMA has come a long way and they are the Accountants who make decisions and help run large corporations. A CMA can do just about anything a CPA can do its just not as well known. They get paid big bucks and you can go into any industry as a CMA. Entertainment, Banking, retail, etc. These guys on the video are more like CMA's than the typical CPA to tell you the truth. Google it if you need more info or hit me back. Im going 4 CMA

  • so to answer your question yes... youll get better jobs... but get the CPA AND THE CMA if you cant choose between the two.

  • CPA is not that easy to get, you need to first work three years in an auditing/tax firm before being examined for one more year, its better to go for a CMA certificate if your not interested in anything to do with auditing and assurance. The best thing is to do a master in finance really, opens more doors with a CMA

  • CPA's use a great deal of educated professional judgement that computers can not comprehend. Computers understand only the input given to them. CPAs>computers

  • Kumar,

I say no. There is an analytical part to being an accountant that computers simply cannot replace. "Judgment" has yet to be simulated and I can't imagine a point when it would be...

  • Will computers replace Accountants in 10-15 years? why or why not.

  • Computers will replace EVERY occupation in 10-15 years. Check out the musings of a guy named Marshall Brain "Robotic Nation."

  • EVERY occupation... INCLUDING computer programming. Scary? Only scary if we don't make some adjustments.

  • I'm doing my CPA,

    I do prefer CFA

  • I liked this video.

    Thank You

  • At my 90 day review, my current boss just told me how incompatible accounting was with my personality. He said that instead of pursuing my CPA, I should be pursuing an MBA. I said to him, "What is a better way to learn about business? By studying sensitive financial data that will show you exactly how and why a real world company is profitable...or spend two years with a bunch of arrogant MBA's stroking their over-inflated egos?"

My boss is an MBA...and I still have my job.
