i downloaded this mod , and its pretty awsome, the only thing unrealistic is the boot blowing up, i downloaded a boot patch thats suposed to make the boot not blow up but it still blows up, eh ohwell, still a cool mod, would be even cooler if my boot didnt blow up tho, theres a cube mod for garrys mod based after the first movie, and it has a working boot, would be so cool if someday the ones in this map were fixed.

this mod can't not fail. the only way it would work is if there was an actual puzzle involved like in the movies by which you can escape. As much as that was a puzzle.. this looks more like scout and die randomly.

It's really a 3D perspective of the topology of the surface of a 4D topology. The character is not inside a hypercube, he's inside the surface of it.  It's still cool, though.

Also, while HL2 is cool, Portal is 1337. And I've already solved the Portal Cube map. Hint: Rooms do not move around each other.

most of the deaths in Cube 2 WERE cased by its instability (the pillars moving across rooms, accelerated time rooms moving through normal time rooms) but some rooms weren't. the spinny death thing was the only real trap, and the accelerated aging to death was just a side-effect of what the room was programmed to do. I haven't used this mod (dont have HL2) and it looks really cool, but by the looks of it, it uses Cube 2's structure (probably cause it's simple and monochrome) and other cubes traps

It's true! I've seen it too. This is a (or supposed to be) a 4.d cubein created by someone for no real purpose (it's a wierdo movie as you said)... And the cube is full of traps killing everyone inside. Those inside are put in there without knowing how, why or anything about it. And you see the movie from the perspective of a group of people who try to get out.

Actually you learn what the whole thing is about so it isn't that much of a cliff hanger.

The woman worked for the goverment and had to retrieve the data of whatever from that pro hacker. And after she completed her mission they got rid of her, so that there are no witnesses.

But the goverment needed to retrieve the data the hacker stole. The data she stole has to do with the cube from the first movie and Cube Zero by the way. The goverment didn't make the hypercube, but the hacker.
