keyboard samplers are cool, they make me feel like im using a classy instrument. I'm a concert pianist, but all my notes are fart noises!!! Want some loungy jazz? Too bad all i have is airhorn and laser sounds.
you are cool dude, jetdaisuke. i understand that playing with devices like korg microsampler for example is the part of live, wolrd understanding, style. but, really the macbook (connected to some good audiointerface) itself is the greatest sampler ever built and has twice or even more capabilities compared with external devices ;D
It's out in Denmark and in stock - we're usually the very last place to get - well, everything...
Trying to figure out how this compares to the SP-404 in terms of loop- record/edit/play on the fly, for keeping my synth riffs playing while i select and prep next sound in the mix...
Is there a max length for the loop recordings? Amount of beats or secs?

and me, comparing to electribes, which I always play ;-) I think this M.Sampler is going to be a pretty new type of instrument, different than what we're used to...
I mean, the korg microsampler doesn't seem THAT different than from regular keyboard samplers; the difference is that this one has a lot of nifty features and that its being marketed directly a hiphop audience who is used to mpc-like samplers. derrick may use a sampling keyboard on strings of life back in 86--keyboard samplers are in no way unheard of

I think the best place I've seen KORGS sold is on amazon online. I have KORG DS10 which is awesome, but want a mini one some day :)
