It's hard to get over something like that when Nebraska obviously should have won that game, and obviously the officials were a little one sided. On a side note, this was the same officiating crew from the Texas game earlier in the year and also the same crew from the big 12 championship last year. That tells you something right there.

Both my sons played and went to college on fb scholarships and my husband coached high school fb for 10 years leading 2 different schools to state championships 3 and 4 years in a row before coaching at a small college in California. And my sister-in-law's father was on the coaching staff for the Green Bay Packers some years ago. We watched the NE game with A&M at a sports bar. I can see that he pinched his leg, but unless his ball-sack is hanging out of his jock strap, I really don't think he was "violated."
Having said that though, it was wrong for Jerod-Eddie to grab Cotton in any inappropriate way. And I can see how Cotton was provoked and the call was wrong.
Having said THAT though, this really NO reflection of A&M's great football program this year, and honestly, the Cornhuskers, who are supposed to be such courteous fans need to get over it. Blame Bo, not us.

It's hard to get over something like that when Nebraska obviously should have won that game, and obviously the officials were a little one sided. On a side note, this was the same officiating crew from the Texas game earlier in the year and also the same crew from the big 12 championship last year. That tells you something right there.

If u play discipline ball u wouldnt have all those penalties. it's all on coaching. when i played nebraska back in the days osbournes teams were one of the most disciplined teams in the country. I'm an aggie but my lil brother plays for the huskers. He told me that the refs at the game r the same ones at all the husker practices. They r there to show the kids what not to do yet they still commited all those penalties.

I can't believe how all these Texans condone the officiating of this game. Had the refs done that to them, they would be outraged. But no video would exist of a Nebraska player pinching someone under the pile. And the Huskers wouldn't be smug about winning that way either. Why? Because Nebraska WANTS to win fair and square. They'd rather lose than to win because of a bunch of bad calls by the refs. Suddenly A&M, the most penalized team in college football, only has 2 penalties. Yeah..right

Both my sons played and went to college on fb scholarships and my husband coached high school fb for 10 years leading 2 different schools to state championships 3 and 4 years in a row before coaching at a small college in California. And my sister-in-law's father was on the coaching staff for the Green Bay Packers some years ago. We watched the NE game with A&M at a sports bar. The comments are unbias since we aren't fans of either team

@tonrot It's not blown out of proportion. How is this any different than what Blount did in Oregon? I was mad when they reinstated him! But at least Oregon had the balls to hand out consequences. Any integrity A&M had went out the window by not suspending him. You cannot physically assault a player without consequences. Period. A Nebraska player was suspended for FAR FAR LESS than this, and I didn't complain at all. The Big 12, and A&M are corrupt and without honor.
