@xoxosupercoolxoxo She's using embroidery floss, usually used for cross stitching. You can find this type of string at any craft store i.e. Michaels, Joanns or any other store favoring crafting. Walmart and Target also have a small selections of it as-well. I've also seen at Walmart a bracelet making "kit" which comes with a small tutorial booklet and a variety of different colors of embroidery floss. Although I wouldn't recommend it for beginners, possibly just buy 1 or 2, just to get a feel.

@CLAUSJUHH Instead of using the string on the left.. after you get done making the knots with each color, and your string is on the right.. use it again, and just do it backwards. You have a double line of that color, but it will make it even, and not curl.

No, It doesn't work with just any string. Try going to Micheals or Wal Mart's craft isle and look for embroidery floss. It will look like thread but about 7 times thicker. They should be around 25-35 cents. If you have any questions, just email me back! Good Luck!
