but in bright sunlight the sutterspeed will go ridiculously fast, giving it a uneven look. That's why we have ND filters. The 180 degree rule is good to follow; witch says that the denominator in the shutterspeed scould be twice the frame rate. Example: 30 fps schould be around 1/60 second shutterspeed.
just wondering dose this hurt the lens cause you shorting out electrical contact?? and thanks cause the thing were you set the aperture and twist the lens doesn't work for me cause the camera doesn't set the other setting so it's alway over or under exposed :) so thx
Thank you! This is fantastic. So easy to do. So... When are you going to post another video on setting aperture value to f/2.8 or f/3.5? Is it the same as everyone else where you set aperture in AV mode and then twist lens to disconnect contact?
The lens will stay in is largest aperture even if you set your camera at F22...it only close when you press the shutter !
The way to do it at F4 for example, are to find a way to lock the aperture at F4 before you put the lens in the SLR ! Its very easy with old lens but I can't find any apparent control on Canon lens !
GUYS GUYS! just get magiclantern!

Whoa whoa whoa. What the fuck do you mean it doesn't do manual video? It's not all auto while shooting video.
I think you've mistaken what I said and why I said it.

Actually you CAN shoot pics, just go to the settings and enable "Release Shutter without Lens" or something.

Why do this? Simply twist the lens very slightly.
To step it down, set the Aperture in Av or M, then just do the same while holding down the DOF preview.
