2- DeRozan has all the characteristics of a dominant 2 guard. He's got a body that has the potential to be dominant, and no matter what this is a game of physicality, especially now. Besides, I still think that is the number one team needs a point guard, Brandon Jennings will be the pick. What he will do the pac 10 will be Jarryd Bayless-esque. Best speed-athleticism ratio I've seen in a PG since AI

Given equal playing time, what do you prefer? A bigger pg with better passing, decision making and shooting? Or a smaller faster point guard whos actually a better overall scorer, handler, and defender?
On topic, Derozan has more of an inside out game than Carter. He's not scared to post up smaller guards.

i'd prefer my point guard to play like a point guard, and that is not what tj ford does, i also like my point guard to not be injured every 5 minutes

What are you talking about? TJ Ford was one of the best passers in the NCAA, and won player of the year. As a matter of fact, coming into the league, his scoring and size were questioned, NOT his passing. And as for thr "play like a point guard" comment... A point guard is a position, not a skill set. Yes you have to be able to pass and handle the ball, which he can, but you also have t0op be a leader, which he is. As a matter of fact, which NBA champion had a pure point runing the team last?

watch a raptors game and tell me if you still think that this guy is a true point guard. did i say anything about college? he averages 10.6 shot attempts a game in only 22 minutes a game and also averages over 2 turnovers a game. as a point guard you should make good decisions and set the offense up, not jack up 23 shot attempts in 27 minutes like he did against the lakers.

I see shades of "Andre Iguodala" if thats how you spell it, He has the same athletics and the shooting isnt his strongest point but he is a great rebounder , dunker and can shoot the ball inside...Demar DeRozan is the real deal!
