using semi-broad cravat is more stable to hold both limbs, it is better also to put something (blanket)in between both legs to stabilized into position, also using square knot tie techniques.

A by-stander who is used to support an injured limb works great while you get your primary assessment done. As well as a detailed secondary survey.
