  • I just love the Sliding D.

  • Hiroshi*

  • I've been having a crush on hiroshima since 2005. He's so hot.

  • I love how the admittedly small crowd didn't appear to give a toss about the last move shown.

  • wouldn't the bloody sunday be a brain-buster single-under hook suplex, rather than an implant ddt?

  • Single Underhook Vertical Drop DDT, though over time, it's drifted more toward Brainbuster territory.

  • great video

  • Again great stuff from suicidal dragon!

  • ♥ Hiroshi Tanahashi ♥

  • You can upload clips from WWE no one will judge you.

  • They enforce their copyright stricter than most companies.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon

Yeah it is a shame because it would be really cool if you could :P.

  • Totally wanted to use the Bloody Sunday as my finisher in WWE12, but noOOoOoo. ¬_¬

Couldn't even create it. Same with the DR Driver 2.

  • Yeah. It's a nice feature, as the aerial versions(and to a point, turnbuckle moves) are a bit clunky, but feasible. However, trying to create a good looking grappling move, good luck. It's funny, you can create an absolutely convoluted move that has no chance of ever seeing a wrestling ring, but you can't create something as simple as Bloody Sunday, or the DR Driver II, as you mentioned.

  • @BornMika

Yeah I tried to create a bloody sunday as well xD

  • that bloody sunday= underhook brainbuster? e...p....i....c

  • 1:31 Flying ref!!

  • Lacks Boma Ye and GAME OVER. Easily could have replaced the Anaconda Vise and the LeBell lock. Punk has only had like two big wins with the Vise this year and I can't think of a single big win Danielson has had with the LeBell Lock. In fact, the only truly big win I can remember him having this year he didn't use a finisher on the opponent at all (WHC win).

  • Have you made or are you doing a best of MVP video?

  • Good video SD, but why you didn't put the Anaconda Vice of Tenzan instead of Punk's One?

  • oh my god masato tankaka is so thin!! I hope he didn't lose his strenght or resistence to high-impact moves..

  • Using the Anaconda Vise feels like a bit of a cop-out since Punk has barely used it at all over the course of this year.

  • What does TTB stand for??

  • Take it To the Bank.

  • LOL At the ref in the first clip jumping over the guys

  • It's a nice compilation, but in my opinion there are impact finishers like the Burning Hammer or one of the Psycho Drivers (just for example) missing. Nonetheless, good video!

  • The Psycho Driver was only used once during a run-in, and I don't think the Hammer was used at all this year.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon Correction: There was a Psycho Driver through a table off the apron at PWG's "Fear", but I won't blame you for the lack of a clip as they have not released the DVD nor a preview clip on youtube for the event yet.

  • Great video as always

  • I can't believe how badly WWE dropped the ball with MVP. SO dumb that company is.

  • its definitely the set up that makes the cross armbreaker look as good as it does

  • Great list, TSD! Your videos never cease to amaze me! Happy New Year! :)

  • why do you refuse to use wwe clips?

  • @JunkyardSweet WWE has their legal department comb youtube to make sure nobody is using their material.

  • @CAWGregoryBlack ALOT of guys put out wwe clips

  • @JunkyardSweet Those guys will eventually get caught though. Dragon doesn't use them because his first channel got shut down because of copyrights, though I don't think it was WWE. Still, better to avoid the trouble than not to.

  • @JunkyardSweet but not all. You dont want suicidaldragon to be included to those that were taken down by WWE dont you.

  • @tigz no?!

  • ahh another good list of moves that doesnt cater to the immature you know i love all; these vidoes you throw together makes me wanna join a wrestling school then try and go to japan even though i'd probably be a 33 yr old jobber forever your list just make me want to see it all in person

  • Evan Bourne's/Matt Sydal''s SSP always makes it onto these kinds of lists :)

  • nice vid, thanks.

Sternness Dust Driver look like a Made from Japan by SHINGO, but without a leg.=)

  • Nice list, dude. Though the first move kinda sucked.

  • I love how the referee jumps over the wrestlers after the High Fly Flow

  • My daughter was born today. and then Suicidal Dragon makes another epic video. my life is complete

  • Also liking the WWE representation on here too! =)

  • Hiroshi Tanahashi = Japanese Eddie Guerrero

  • @farid777 I'm prefer calls him Japanese Art Barr

  • @Fidodido6113 Tanahashi looks a lot more like Eddie than Love Machine

  • What exactly would the technical name for the Henkei Go Flasher be? Wrist Clutch Inverted Brainbuster?

And I still prefer Masato Tanaka's Sliding D. The clips I've seen of Kingston's completely lack any flow to them and just look awkward. Tanaka's just snaps.

  • @KryptikM3

    wrist clutch inverted NLB

  • Year of the Submission :D

  • Watching japanese wrestling head bumps is terrifying. How do they not all have benoit style brain damage?

  • i'll assume no Golden Shower because it's a tag team move.....

i'm surprised with the number of WWE finishers, but then again, it's a surprising repertoire of guys on the roster with belts right now.

  • Great to see MVP with a spot, but is there a reason that Shinsuke Nakamura's Boma Ye didn't get a spot in the top ten?

  • 4 wwe guys...?

  • Is it easy to say that for the first time in a long time maybe ever. That half of the premier finishers in wrestling, are being used by talented guys, who actual wrestle for the WWE. Minus MVP, Masato Tanaka, Prince Dewitt, and the one I can't pronounce.

  • Gimme some old school Kevin "The Gamemaster" Sullivan. Wasn't pretty but super effective. Double belly stomp and the Tree of Woe all day!

  • @mrjohnnynofear Got that right!

  • air bourne . . . no, just no

  • BRIAAAAANNNNNNNN BBBUUUUSSSSSTTTTTAAAAAA !!!!!

  • That's got a spot in a different year-end video.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon Why you won't use the WWE videos?

  • @MaxAcer0 Copyright infringements

  • Never thought I'd see the day where MVP would be on a Top 10 Moves lists, lol.

  • Bloody Sunday!!!

  • Good gosh, that High Fly Flow is the prettiest frog splash since Eddie's. He'd be proud.

  • @Thr33X Indeed he would.

  • @Thr33X Not ONLY the frog splash is the best since Eddie's but his mullet is the best since Eddie's as well!

  • @TheSinisterOne725 True enough. XD

  • @Thr33X dude u forgot the five star frog splash

  • No Boma Ye = no buys

  • I personally prefer the Sliding Elbow of Eddie Kingston

It has that extra bit of power to it combined with the speed he runs, and the weigh of Kingston. Honestly, Kingston's larger size, and weight really give an extra momentum to the move

  • @jhniscolV2 Masato possibly gets extra points for inventing the move, though. lol

  • @jhniscolV2 The finishers are chosen on how much success the move has given the wrestler for this year, that's why Tanaka's was chosen (unless Kingston has been successful this year? I'm not sure, I don't really follow US indies.).

Great list, BTW, although I would've liked to have seen Nakamura's Boma Ye and KENTA's GAME OVER on there too.

  • @ToyotaKudoFan Well Kingston became the first ever Chikara Grand Champion, not sure the move he used to win though. Also, you really can't compare Chikara's Champioship to what Tanaka has reached this year.

I agree on the lack of the Boma Ye. Nakamura won the G1 with it, so it definetly deserved a spot.

What exactly is KENTA's GAME OVER? Never heard of that one.

  • @TheColdLegend GAME OVER is KENTA's new submission finisher. It helped him greatly in this year's Global League in NOAH, which he made it to the finals.

  • @ToyotaKudoFan Just found a Clip of it. Why the heck is everyone using Crossfaces again? LeBell Lock, Irreversible Crysis, GAME OVER...

  • @ToyotaKudoFan

Well this year Eddie Kingstone became the first Chikara Grand Champion which is officially Chikara's main championship

As for Tanaka, I know he became the second IWGP Intercontinental Champion, but compared to the Chikara Grand Champion, the IWGP IC Championship is more of a midcard championship (as far as I could tell)

  • 1:31 Damn ref.

  • DANIEL BRYAN. FTW!

  • Another great vid SD, have a Happy New Years!

  • hey Dragon did u use to be a wrestler or just a fan.
