Kiss - Tommy Thayer & Eric Singer solos, Newcastle 02.05.10

No doubt Eric Singer has established himself. Tommy Thayer, I think he sounds really good, but as someone else said he sounds a lot like Ace and needs to do his own thing. But then again, the Original Kiss...Ace is part of the Original sound and maybe that's what Kiss is going for, some of that original sound.

Tommy Thayer has a chance to prove he's a real musician here and wail some of his own licks but all he does here and all he's ever done while in Kiss is come off as a typically drunk-sounding Ace Frehley! Sure that makes him sound more authentic by being sloppy like Ace but he's not actually doing it on purpose -- he really sucks!! Back to the bedroom BOY!!!#*$@)#*!
