Ok. I'm not a drummer and i don't play any kind of instrument so i don't know alot but i do notice that during the double bass parts (or what atleast sounds like double bass) his left foot isn't near the bass drum yet it's moving. I looked to see if the high-hat was moving too, but it at least didn't look like it. so can some be ever so kind as to explain this too me? thanks. Great job too. awesome song.

@18speakout95 its a double bass pedal the pedal on the left controls a second beater above the original pedal if you look close enough you can see the connecting drive shaft

Most definitely. Josh is the reason I play drums the way I do today. He may be gone but he is still my biggest drumming influence. Hopefully in December I'll be able to put up some newer Coheed videos, as these are nearing two years in age.

The drums sound amazing, the mics and EQing don't sound amazing ^_^;; I'm a novice at such things, thus my drums are translated rather papery and flat. That coupled with my lack of a proper recording mixer and proper EQ = meh drums sounds. It's better than nothing though!

Coheed are a great band to do covers of, the songs arent always so stright forward, look at the crowing for example. Anyways, great job, bu i think josh uses a single pedal.

Agreed, brother. The camera is great, but I don't have a FireWire card to transfer the video, so I have to use USB transfer which equals AWFUL quality. Should be fixing that eventually with a MacBook.

I need to record this with my kit setup like Josh did. Ride and China on the left and such.
