I personally think they both have their advantages

I think its good either way. I prefer Jesse's writing though. Jesse is a smart kid, and I'm not sure if Karl is quite as deep as jesse was. I've herd clips of the stuff off the new album, and i'm kinda hesitant. I'm scared i wont like it. I really dont think it's going to match up to Mirrors or OMATMH. The lyrics and the way the words are proportioned is just sick. MS is probably one of the best bands that we're going to have the opporunity to see.

i think his lyrics are a million times better than jesse's. i like jesse better as a front man live, but i think he's much deeper than jesse, because all jesse talked about was relationships with girls.

i disagree. the guitar player said that he has a lot to do with the lyrics. so it wouldn't be just the vocalist in either situation. besides, that's bullshit; ofatmh isn't just about girls. It's also about losing friends, evaluating oneself, i think one of them even has to do with parental figures, i could be wrong.

It's funny it took me a while to get used to Karl's voice, but it's awesome, and controller blew me away to no end, one of the best records of 2008 for sure. I love all the albums, and I've seen them live a few times and they are fucking amazing.

I actually Really like this version. It sounds fucking bad ass.. like keeping the OMATMH version fresh.. after I heard this, i went back and listened to the Album version and Jesse sounded kinda croaky. Then I got used to it again. haha but whatever.

No one who is fan of hardcore can dislike Misery Signals, its just not possible. I hate to say it, but I think that they are even better than Hatebreed (and I'm from New Haven too!).

i like hatebreed (they are a little offensive for my taste but oh well) but i totally agree. i actually know lots of kids that haven't gotten the real opportunity to listen to these guys all out. when i herd the failsafe i went out like 3 or 4 days later and bought the CD and i (to put it in plain terms) haven't taken it out.
