how to you deal with the position of your hands, I mean yr wrists being bent as they are? Is it not painful when you play pieces as... 4 instance French suite N°1, or the Chromatic... ? I am always asking myself whether it is better to be higher seated or not.
Very good indeed, I am working on that piece myself right now, and I have a question: what transcript do you have? I have both Lüstner and Bertrik, and in both of them I find difficulties of stretching!! (looks like my hands aren't big enough! ach!)
So my question: do you have a simplified transcription, or is it the harpsichord one? And if you could give me the publisher, I would most appreciate...
Your interpreation ist pure and excellent. Freeing Bach all what what smells of romantism, is a good thing. Do you have the scores of W. Kempff. I will be very gratefull.
I personally think you should play on a higher quality piano. This piano seems to have unbalanced actions, and the piano sounds either really old or short(its strings.). I've seen you on a grand piano once. Try to record while playing on that one. I personally prefer playing on a newer grand piano so that I can play with more accuracy in terms of interpretations and dynamics.
Actually, the scores may say it is staccato, but if you don't think it should be in staccato, you can play it however you feel like. That's how the greatest pianists were born.
Hi, that was a very good performance! I'm also trying to learn this piece and having quite a hard time =) Do you know what grade could this piece be considered?
oh yeah i agree..though it's not a fast piece, I realize that it wasnt easy though. right now im trying to work on the piece. Thanks for posting! you're really good. can i be your student ^.^ ...
@nleytman I feel like Mr. Wilhelm Kempff purposely tried to complicate it so that this variation is reserved only to dedicated students and pianists. Regretfully, I, myself crashed and burned :( but was committed to learn something from Bach and nailed Prelude 1, hehe.
Thank you for your comment. I wish I understood what you said in Spanish. I assume it's something good because you subscribed to my videos. Can somebody translate it for me?

Nice rendition of this beautiful piece. One of my favourite rendition is played by Nuccio Trotta. An unknown pianist on youtube worth listening to.
