  • Is this track available for purchase from soundcloud? I'm on dropbox and would like to purchase the soundcloud version of this mix.

  • Outstanding mix

  • hmm bambaataa's planet rock IS just a mix of 2 kraftwerk songs

    (numbers and trans european express).

so it is not hard to make a mashup.

  • @Plexpara Actually, its very different. They basically copied the drum beat and added the vocal sample from numbers. What I did was to loop the actual drums from numbers, re-equalizing the track to become more bass heavy and have more snap in the snare. With trans europe express (not trans european express) Bambaataa made a bridge of sorts, while I rearranged computer love into a melody that melds perfectly with the planet rock vocals, and I added looking for the perfect beat as a bridge. Hater.

  • @BlooMooNMuSiC^:

    hater?me?

you know, africa bambaataa was my youth.but later i realise that most americam rappers just imitate kraftwerk.they just disappointed me after i realise they just sample old krautrock music.

kurtis blow is much more musican.he do what with his own hands.

the younger old shool rappers like run dmc or tuff crew are great.but not bambaataa ot soul sonic force etc.

  • PROPS FOR MISTER BLOOMOON MUSIC THIS ABSOLUTELY KICKS SOME SERIOUS ASS. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO AFRIKA BAMBAATAA? WHERE IS HE NOW? THIS IS THE REAL HIP HOP,NOT THIS GARBAGE THAT IS AN EARSORE ON THE RADIO WAVES. VERY WELL DOME HOMES........

  • The guy is from another world...where is he now ?

  • Whiteboy Dj says Beautiful

  • Fukin ace mate...I get the sentiment...

  • This is real cool!

  • Legit stuff man. Long live hip-hop. All music is rooted in each other and it takes a smart person to see that. I'm glad there are others out there who appreciate the mix of cultures and sounds.

  • I was extra high when I discovered this haha

  • download link doesn't work

  • @ULDMANZ should work now.

  • @BlooMooNMuSiC ir does! tnx

  • @BlooMooNMuSiC I'm a fomer B-boy myself. this really brings back the truest raw essence of hip-hop. now today's hip-hop is highly disrespected in so many ways with lyrical violence, and all dat otha' CRAP! what you've brought to tha' table is REAL HIP-HOP. nobody's gettin' dissed, none of that dirty shit you hear nowadays. They are not follwing the path of our very pioneers has paved for us. today's so-called B-boys hip-hoppers, to me indivdiually, I honestly believe that they never understand.

  • its somewhere in vinyl?

Was touring for 3 days and nights with bam! He`s really a good person! And you feel his energy so much!!!!!! That goes deep! Iam not shure if he`s human, pherehaps he`s a good!

  • @Turntill btw the version of this I have on soundcloud is the only I have made up for downloading right now.

  • can't phantom how any true head would give this a "dislike" wtf?? to each his own i guess...

  • @rubixstetris yeah underground music united.

  • wow. sounds so familiar....Coldplay? or MGMT? *sigh* another song sampled.

  • @watchfull3y3 Actually everything I've sampled, and more importantly, why I've sampled it, is listed in the description. Check for yourself, and check yourself.

  • @BlooMooNMuSiC i see, i see. much respect.

  • You really got the right idea, but Computer Love is WAAAY too loud! It's drowning out both the electro AND those incredible, hard-driving beats (aka, the BEST parts!!!)

  • @dukenthaylor you can hear Numbers better if you download it and listen on some nice speakers. thanks for the input though!

  • @rubixstetris thanks!

  • when u put up the vids against the lyrics it reminds me of them old kung fu flixs..haha..rakeem looks like jackie chan in the drunken master

  • @NYOLSKOOL lol, yeah

  • This is the Ultimate, love it with all my heart Kraftwerk and Soul SonicForce damn....

  • Bach then Baamm was not FAT

  • to me there will only be one hip hop. things aint never gonna be the same.

  • Outstanding... !

  • @nandini358 thanks, appreciate it.

  • Check: TEDSON-AM ARSCH VORBEI

  • HUMANS BEINGS, THANK YOU FOR ALL THE FUN TIMES AND HAPPY MEMORIES!

    I LOVE YOU ALL !

  • seriously, i felt like a tear was coming. great track.

  • @chezza55 i tried to do justice to the some of the most innovative music ever made. glad you liked it.

  • Computer Love is so frickin timeless. The melody is just so perfect. No wonder everyone from Italian electro bands to Coldplay to the early hip-hoppers have used it in one way or another.

  • DOPE

  • this is a very good mashup/composition; the music and the video is done wonderfully. you havent gotten enough credit for it.

  • @JustinNiggalake - thanks 4 overstanding.

  • it mix so well 1980 ,2012,2100

  • kraftwork-awesome

    Bambaataa-awesome

    Just use your ears

  • BlooMoon thanx mister another heads up for introducing me to that computer love song I looked it up and that shits ridiculous

  • that's some good shit but the people postin jesus christ get off kraftwerks dick it wasn't the fuckin genisis of hip hop that was one aspect of it with bambatta and zulu nation but what about kool herc the reggae influence the disco studio bands that old hip hop used and just the old r and b breaks for the guy who said no kraftwerk no hip hop i hope your not the guy at the party all coked up in everyones ear with that argument

  • @gakdan76 lol.

  • @gakdan76 fuk u kraftwerks da shizzle

  • Man u showed MC Breed in the Mashup..RIP!

  • great tribute but wheres Mac Dre?

  • Reputation and respect are unnecessary. Just listen to the music

  • best!!!!!

  • DOPE!!!!!!

  • Well I dont think theres a point in arguing. Yes AB stole Kraftwerks drum beat. but think about it. they arent that similar

  • Snake hips at 4:27.

    Beautiful.

  • the knowledge? the knowledge = kraftwerk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • put a proper link up, facebook is wack

  • That is NOT the "Soul Sonic Force" singin' Planet Rock!!

  • the white man stole blues from the africans and made rock, africans took german techno and made it hip hop, from africa bambaataa to coldplay they all stole from "Kfratwerk"

  • @electronicmedium

That s a little narrow...hip hop DID exist before Planet Rock......If you're looking for a seminal track or beat before Planet Rock check out Micheal Viners Incredible Bongo Band and their version of the Shadows track Apache.......Not sure Kraftwerk had released much to copy at that point....I love kraftwerk.......but Hip Hop is multi-faceted.......but I agree...nusics a pretty amazing thing....

  • exactly - no kraftwerk = no bambaataa ..although i'm a huge eno fan, kraftwerk are the godfathers of synth. it's crazy to think that all of the krautrock bands like can, kraftwerk, neu, tangerine dream, etc. were really the originators of what came to be hip-hop ..I don't know, it just goes to show that music is always evolving. long live kraftwerk

  • So I want to say : One Love and everyone should know that afrika mean to us : Hey dont fight, dont destroy your self! Take your power and do creative things! B boy battles , rap battles and much more!

So for me is music the sign of we going hand in hand!

Give respect and love to the other people and preshade there things!

Hip Hop ( So i understand it for 15 years) is to come out of the ghetto and the drug fights or something! Hip Hop is love! Thank u africa bambaataa

  • Afrika Bambaataa is a wonderful person and i preshade it what he have do for the culture!

from nothing to create a new way to life with Hip Hop Music! He is all of us Hip Hop musicans the Father!

He give us the fundamental to do what we to day do. I Think whats happend, if no one create the first hip hop beatz or so?! Today we all can make a beat weith the mpc or cubase or reason or something! But everyone do the own style. But the fundament give us Afrika bambaataa!Sry for my english im german

  • Yo Bloo,

There is something about your mashups that makes them unique. It's like they both have your signature style. AMAZING! This video should be played on TV to make people remember how music use to be. Though all of us who got to this video never FORGOT!!

    BLOO....much respect

  • This montage literally brought tears to my eyes. Much love!

  • thanks homie.

  • Whoever put this joint together is a Mthf##!!g G!!

I mean ... this is pure Genius!! East Coast, West Coast, Old School, New School ... all laced with Kraftwerk's Numbers and Computer Love in the background.

I sure would love to see Hip Hop extend a public olive branch to Kraftwerk. Those beats sound soooooo sweet.

  • Afrika Bambaataa is pure and knew no boundaries. Who else would do a track with John Lydon? He was a renegade of funk, punk a symbol of freedom..

  • Obama says @ 0.38 secs why he get my vote of approval!

  • hell yeah.

  • Very, very cool! Love the song and the video just ties it all together. You rock!

  • @frauleinkerstin kraftwerk is the reason

  • This is one of the finest celebrations of hip hop I have ever seen. I am proud to watch and hear this and know that I am deeply rooted into hip hop and always will it be my foundation. Kangols, baseball caps and scullies off to a job well done. Peace!

  • @skitz34 kraftwerk is the reason
