  • When training using a wall should I try to aim and shoot or just shoot anywhere on the wall?

  • Did that in a game yesterday but failed...:( the ball went flying in the sky

  • @DaB3aTz96 - So you need to keep your knee over the ball and keep your follow through short. If you follow through two high or across your body rather than short and towards goal the ball will usually go into the stands. Do you know what I mean?

  • @TheSoccerEssentials I meant volley, there wasn't enough time

  • @DaB3aTz96 - Ya I know what you mean. Same thing applies. Lack of time just forces you to panic. You are stilling doing the same motion. Just calm your thinking process and use proper technique. Do you understand what I am trying to say?

  • i always slice it lol

  • @kingdev97 - Your not meeting the center of your foot to the center of the ball. Try to really flex your foot and make your toes are pointed down, then make sure you are following through forward towards the goal not across your body. Does that help?

  • I have no idea why and i have many people ask me how i can naturally shoot with the outside of my right foot and have as accurate as i like. But i find them shots to be the most natural. Not being big headed or anything but i feel more comfortable smashing it at such an angle on the outside of my right that it fools the keeper and slips in, either skimming the post or missing it by inches and smacking the back of the net

  • @Zephrani - It's just about repetition. You probably picked it up when you were younger and continued to use it as you grew older. Its a great technique to have but I hope you are improving your other techniques of shooting as well. And with both feet! Yes? Thanks for the comment.

  • I really like your videos ... they help me a lot mate... i cant shoot with the inside of the foot on my weak (left) foot i know ill "get better every day" but can you give me more tips to improve weak foot? and to shoot with the outside in both feet? :) ty

  • @500Killed - There are no secret tips. It's all about practice. Just think about how many more times you've kicked the ball with your stronger foot compared to your weaker? It only makes sense that one is weaker than the other. Get your practice up. Same goes for outside of the boot. How many times have you done that shot compared to laces. It's all about practice. Thanks for the comment.

  • Hey is this normal, I do all of your drills on this video everyday, 20 per foot, and on my left foot its kind of getting better and my right foot is like super good, so do I have to make both feet equal, or will the shooting foot always be be stronger then the non kicking foot?

  • @Maradrogba - Depends on how hard your willing to work. I would work to improve both as much as possible. The second you think one foot is "good enough" is the second you will stop growing as a player. Always improving in every way possible.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials Yeah mate i am using both feet. I used your idea for just dribbling the ball around the house etc. My dog wernt having any of it so i was balancing it on my foot just above its head before flicking it up. She wern't too happy lol

  • @Zephrani - Haha nice. Have you seen my latest video with the dog? Go to my channel and search Air Bud 2012

  • Left is so hard :(

  • @EstupedMexicanz - Takes practice. You'll get a little better each day. But never neglect your weaker foot. Don't you dare!

  • @MultiRhys09 - Ya you are definitely right about the volleys. If you don't get your contact point and follow through just right you will have a very hard time getting the ball on target.

  • gay

  • @mexicanops123 - Thanks for your comment Mexi ;)

  • @MRJordanRing1 - For sure you can practice with a tennis ball if thats all you have. But you should definitely work to get a good ball over time. It will help you in the long run.

  • or u can do what i did today BRAGIN go around the goalie

  • @Zikry1113 - Stop being such a wuss? Are you shootig wtih our laces or your toes. Make sure you have a locked ankle, toes pointed down, and you are making contact in the center of the ball with the center of your foot.

  • great video,I have one question,How do you work on aiming your shots? thanks!

  • @soccerruben1 - Well pick a spot every time you shoot. Don't simply just shoot the ball. Shoot the ball with a purpose. You can start by setting up a target on a wall and trying to hit it 50 times.

But more importantly whenever you are shooting and games and practice pick a spot and try to hit it, don't just shoot for the sake of shooting.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials ok,thanks,I'll try it

  • lol what goal are you trying to make with those weak low goal kicks

  • @wwesonyfan Control, accuracy, and making sure he can catch the ball as it rebounds from the wall, think before you comment.

  • @Xaiden666 be careful who you talk to fag or you will be made my bitch

  • @wwesonyfan wooooow TOUGH GUY!..

  • @zh0ck wow GAY GUY

  • i have a question.. what would be the difference between a Half Volley and a Full Volley? thank you.

  • @EliteFootballer7 - Half Volley - you strike the ball right after it bounces.

Full Volley - you strike the ball straight out the air with no bounce.

  • Im havin trouble with my accuracy and power. If i put a lot of power ball moves too far.

  • @nehhshstr - Exactly. So start with your accuracy. Once you can get the ball to where you want it to be every time. Then start to add the power. Technique and Accuracy must be mastered before Power can be properly implemented.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials Thanks a million. I have satisfactory accuracy when i am close to the post...but my far shots fly randomly. After hearing your advice , I dont think my tecnique is proper either. how do i improve or correct my technique. Also, while taking a keepers kick I cant manage to put enough power into the ball.

Also advanced thanks for your advice. =)

  • @TheSoccerEssentials how is this supposed to help u use a small football cus u play futsal hows that going to help when i play football you have a smaller pitch so u dont have to kick with much power but good video though

  • @nehhshstr Same problem :(

  • im having trouble learning how to hit it good off your lace because i can only seem to put loads of backspin on it. is there a certain technique Greeaatt vid mayte

  • @mattydncr1 - Lock your ankle. Hold your foot tight and really focus on meeting the center of your boot to the center of the ball. But in the end it just comes down to PRACTICE.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials thankss :):)

  • yea decent enough vids but your not teaching or showing people to change feet and furthest foot... :/

you know.. lateral movement and such

  • @elsimo94 - Thanks for the input man. I'll be sure to add to the videos and make them more valuable next time.

    Thanks for the feedback.
