what's a surger??? all i know is that it is used for making things like a sewing machine... so can u please explain it to me???

@pattyangel20 well a serger is for more advances sewing. it finnishes seams and gives stretch to seams that would not stretch with normal sewing. it have 3 or 4 big spools of thread, 2 needles and no bobben. it also goes very fast. it's hard to explan everything but thoughs are the basics of it :) threadbanger has a video on how to thread a serger and they explan it a bit u can try that.

mh.... That tutorial .... She owns a Bernina.... or she works with one... I always thought a Bernina was even better than a Janome....

@Tinkerbelll89 well a serger is a bitt differient. it finnishes seams and gives streatch to seams as well.it's for more advanced sewing. she may have a bernina sewing machien but a serger is deffernt so she will need them both.

I was using a rotary cutter to cut out a square of fabric for a purse. My mom called so i picked up and put it on speaker. As we were in the middle of our convo, I put a little too much pressure on the wheel and slipped, running over the middle knuckle on my left index finger. It was such a clean cut, it didn't hurt or bleed -- until I bent my finger. I saw bone! I simply told my mom "I gotta go!" and went to get my stepdad. I didn't cry though :D
