  • wow. that was fun. im gonna try that. i love trying new recipees. i know they smelled good..

  • wow cozzyk, that looks delicious! and so easy too! not sure about the hot tomatoes! lol ... but, i think i'll have to try this some time soon ... =D

  • You can buy Rotel mild tomatos or even medium. I don't recommend the hot for most ;). Just what I had in the pantry.

  • i'll probably try the mild first and then see ... =}

  • I haven't made stuffed peppers in ages! I used to mix the rice into the meat and then stuff. I bet the sour cream made these taste really good!

  • I know most people mix the rice in the mixture. I wanted a lot of rice as the side dish. I find when I stuff it in the pepper than I don't have enough room for as much meat and other ingrediants I want to stuff in there. This was just a throw together what I have on hand night ;).

  • hmm, I have never made stuffed bell peppers with the ingredients already cooked.. I always put my meat in there raw and then cook it for an hour at 350. This sounds a little faster and looked good.. I wouldn't want the HOT tomatoes but my husband would love em.. LOL

  • There is many want to make stuffed bell peppers it amazes me. Lori is going to try this only using the mild Rotel tomatos for her Mom this weekend. The ingrediants I used was just what I happened to have on hand. Next time I make it they will proably be entirely different ;).

  • The peppers looked so good. I may try this Kim. Hugs sweet lady!

  • They were pretty good if I do say so ;). Lori is going to try them with the mild Rotel tomatos for her Mom this weekend so I hope they turn out for her.

  • as usual all you make looks really nice and yummy !!! take care !!!

  • Thanks for stopping by DC. Haven't been up to vlogging but I still cook ;).

  • great video those peppers look great yummm.

  • Thanks Joe.

  • Loves it! Had it last night...very yummy.

  • Great glad you liked it. It's so versatile you can change it up however you want I just used what I had on hand.

  • I haven't had stuffed peppers in ages! Maybe I'll have to try this this weekend.

  • There great you throw in anything you want really. This is just what I had on hand.

  • My mom made stuffed pepper. I loved em. Ground turkey is very good. I make tacos with turkey too.

For some reason I do not really care for green pepper any more. I uses to eat it raw too. I like the red & yellow ok.

    Oh yes tupperware drainer :)

  • I use ground turkey always when ground beef is called for. I have for years and we both love it. Not to say I don't ever eat a burger or steak once in awhile. Yes I prefer red too I ate the red one hubs had the green one ;).

  • That looked good! My dad used to make things like that...

  • Yea it was throw together what I had on hand day ;).

  • Looooooks yummmmy

  • Yea there is of course ways to make it even more diet friendly. Soft hugs.

  • looks good ;o)

  • Thanks we enjoyed it.

  • LOOKS GOOD

do you know I had a dream you came over and cooked some pasta in my house..I woke up starving, then I seen this video..IM FREAKING OUT lol

  • Pata is my favorite you know and I ve yet I think to do a video on it.

  • looks great

  • Thanks it turned out OK.

  • Never have tried stuffed peppers before, didn't think i would like them, but this makes me want to try it. Hope your having a good week Kim. :D

  • Hanna I like the red peppers myself better than the green.

  • Ive seen sooooo many cooking vids using peppers this way and have yet to try it.

  • Give it a whirl sometime if you like em.

  • Looks delicious! I'm definitely going to give it a go. It's interestingly different from my stuffed pepper recipe. Big Hugs and hope you're feeling OK. :-)

  • It was use what in the fridge/house receipe lol. But we enjoyed it.

  • We cook that way, too, and sometimes it's the very best way to discover a new recipe for something you wind up really liking. Hugs :-)

  • Looks really good!

  • Proably not to a vegan ;).

  • Ive been craving the spicy food a lot the last couple months, this looks YUMMY!

  • Well knowing you you can bring it up a notch for in ingrediants skill etc. I just threw what I had on hand in. It was good we did though even though we love spicy kind mix up on the plate the rice and pepper ingrediants. I didn't want the rice in the mixture as most normally do I wanted meat main dish with side of rice. Actually I am craving the leftovers. Which there is another meal for us there. Throw in a sald and viola lol.

  • It takes a bit of creativity to make a meal out of what you have on hand, thats the way most of my meals are made:-)

  • Hope it goes well for you. It's one of those things you can change the ingrediants to whatever you like.

  • KIM!! YAY!

What a pretty cutting board! We don't have Rotel tomatoes here, but I think I can use regular ones and add some spices to kick it up.

YUM this looks good. I think I'll be making these this weekend. Maybe when my mom comes over!

    Hugs!

  • The cutting board is large wood one but I have a sheet like cutting board on put on top at times. Makes for easier clean up. You can accomplish same as Rotel by can tomatos and throw in small can diced chilis. This was just what I had on hand. Luv ya girl.

  • Love these recipes!

  • Finally gave you a new one to try Steve.

  • Look out, Food Network... It's cooking with cozzyk! :-)

Stuffed peppers, yummy!!! Turkey is my favorite, I never get weary of it. Plus, I'll bet your kitties were very interested in your browning efforts. Nefer always sticks her nose up into the air & sniffs when I'm cooking like that.

Yup, Pat likes really spicey food, too.

All of that looked really delicious!!!

  • We love Food Network and watch all the time. Thankfully hubs likes all the cooking shows too sometimes even more than I. We watch the reality ones together all the time one of our favorite things to watch. Ok throw in some CSI and gore too lol. My kitties don't like much people food really. They both have a people food treat they like. One non-fat cheddar cheese (she only gets tiny bit) and the devil child likes OK top of buttered muffin in bits. Couple other things but not the usual.

  • Remind us to stop by your place for dinner sometime....lol.

    Your vid made us hungry.

We'll be cooking that this week!

    5/5!

  • Lol and you could do that couldn't ya? We loved it. It was hot though with the Hot Rotel but with the side of long grain rice we just kind blended them. You could back off though and use Medium Rotel or Regular if you don't like spice. We though do like to have the sinus cleared out ;).

  • oh gosh you making me hungry... those look yum!

  • Thanks sweets. I usually make simple things because I am a simple gal. I do though cook most every night. Still scratching me head about tonights lol.
