@InfinityDose FLIR isn't just easily purchased, it is ITAR regulated meaning that you can't export 98% of the useful thermal imagers out of the USA, nor is it cheap. Thermal imagers that have a high resolution imager (at least 320x240) are well over $5,000 used. They are the bare minimum for doing surveillance work, while the handheld point and shoot style are only good for doing home inspection type work.
