Very inspiring. I never knew you can create some many things out of unwanted material. Dan's work is beautiful, each house he builds is unique. I love that he's making these houses for low income families and teaching them how to build the houses. Not only is he give them a home, but skills they can possibly use in the work force. I would love to see more of Dan's projects here in Houston, especially here in the third ward area.

I've been collecting building materials for quite some time now. Mostly from dumpsters and friends picking up stuff and dropping them off to me. I've already created a couple of very cool alternative living spaces from found materials. I am in the process of making a film about building form found materials. If you want to have your work showcased in my film, write to me and we'll talk about it.
