  • VIVE LA FRANCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Christian Clavier makes this movie simply perfect. Such a great actor. And, of course, Napoleon was genial person.

  • One by one he freed... the tyranny of absolute monarchs ... One by one he saved ... of the colonizer and oppressor power of the British economy ... One by one he conquered... Not by weapons but by the heart ... Long live the Emperor ... The liberation of Europe... If it were not for him my country would not be free today ... And I'm from Brazil... because his invasion to portugal make us a kingdom and not a colony anymore. thank you my emperor... God bless your soul and the soul of your soldiers

  • @oOAndrewsOo Wow, I didn't know that. I admire him, because he alone made from soldiers who ate their horses because of hunger the best army in the world - The Great Army!

One of Russian generals during the battle of Borodino shouted "Bravo!!!" to soldiers of the Great Army, 'cause he couldn't imagine that non Russians could fight so brave.

  • @oOAndrewsOo I am also From Brazil, and i love Napoleon, but he ddin't freed europe, he just changed the ruler, in russia , Austria, Prussia, he was hated, if you read War and Peace you will see he was lvoed by the French, but his ocupation wasn't freedom. We might have gained a faster independence because of him, but surely we would be free today, Napoleon was a great man but he was not that loved. And he mostly conquered by weapons then by heart

  • @Adiee666 Napoleon was quite hansome when he was young. It think after Austerlitz he declined in health and appereance. He was a workaholic and was many days of the year in the field. It is understandable that that takes a toll of a man. But even when he became a bit fatter en paler the people still adored him. Vive L'Empereur!

  • @juultjuh99 Apparantly Josephine when she was first involved with Napoleon had to and I quote "overcome feelings of revulsion" when she bagan sleeping with him. That was from a documentary but anyways I never met the guy so I am just adding to the debate on his looks.

  • А Я ЛЮБЛЮ ЧИТАТЬ СОСТАВ ОСВЕЖИТЕЛЯ ДЛЯ ТУАЛЕТА В СВОБОДНОЕ ВРЕМЯ!А ВЫ?

  • A poor film overall. It had some nice moments though.

  • @Octavius0 Agree. It could be much better.

  • @Octavius0 You may say that (even when I don't agree with you) but are there any others? Besides pre sixties?

  • @juultjuh99

Well 'Waterloo' is a good film, though it is only about 1814/1815 and of course centres on the Waterloo battle.

The whole thing has been uploaded to youtube as well.

  • I'm sorry but actualy Bonaparte was handsome when he was young and this actor for 100% doesn't look like Napoleon

  • @SuperMissDIORcherie Of course Christian Clavier looks nothing like Napoleon, but his acting in this part is incradible as for me.

  • @Barik87 I Agree with you. He is very good actor!

  • @SuperMissDIORcherie Yes but he makes it good for the old one ;p.

  • Great music, great video! :D

  • u know where i could watch it for free online?

  • @Theempore1234 no, sorry, I've got only DVD with russian translation.

  • splended video man! and anyone have a clue wat this movie is called?

  • @Theempore1234 thanks :) The movie is called Napoleon.

  • This man is just the Legend of Legends. He began with a France ruined by a civil war, and conquered all Europe and founded the most prestigious Empire 15 years later.. Napoléon always hated war. He NEVER declared war, England and his allies always did.

  • @SkedarOne He loved glory.

  • supa cool!

  • vive la France!!!!!!

  • EPIC

  • wow really well made video, love the background music

  • what movie is this?

  • @StrangerYouKnow it's Napoleon (2002 year, with Christian Clavier). This movie hasn't become really famous because there were no huge battle scenes (like LOTR or smth), but it did reflected the life of Napoleon Bonapart.

  • Нехай живе Наполеон!

just wanted to say it in my language...

  • ViVe Napoléon

  • its actually also the theme to crimson tide

  • POWER 15 ...

  • Pure Brilliant ...

  • @sunnyblack15 I could do better though :) But thanks :) I'm really fascinated with the whole Napoleon story and French revolution period.

  • @Barik87 Napoleon was amazing character he came from nothing but he had noble blood which when he won the revolution. The people started to believe in him he done a lot of great things in this world that nobody up to now has even matched him he is the REVOLUTION !

  • Kan l'armé de NAPOLEON ce mais en marche le sol tremble a l'ideé de voire notre armé ecrasé les ennemie.

  • Je suis fier d'etre français vive la france.

  • so did mine (Norway)

  • You sure did, but that was because Norway belonged to the Danish crown.

  • Napoleon is one hell of a badass, I'm proud my country (Denmark) supported him, too bad we got our asses beaten by England because of it.

  • Cool, your country supported Napoleon?

  • Well, kind off yes. England came with a large invasion force to claim the danish navy (Denmark was one of the few neutral countries then) because they feared it might fall into Napoleons hands. Denmark-Norway refused it and so England decided to siege Copenhagen, while bombing the civilian population with rockets and explosive shells. After the battle for Copenhagen the Danish king decided to support Napoleon, unfortunate Sweden supported England....

  • And so after the Napoleonic war Denmark was compelled to cede Norway to Sweden by the Treaty of Kiel in 1814.

  • I say the same my friend, only that I am from Norway! Im provd to be related to supporters of the everlasting emperor of Europe!

  • were did yu get the song?
