I resent being called a "sufferer" of Aspergers- as if I have cancer or HIV,
not to mention this idiot's implication that the syndrome is the result of a neurological "imbalance", and that it causes people to go on killing sprees.
Funny thing is: Folks on the autism spectrum generally don't like drastic changes or drastic acts -- and thus don't act on an impulse to do something like multiple murders "just like that". People with AS are, by nature, probably _less_ prone to do something crazy like this.
what....they listed two things that aren't even the main point of aspergers. I hope nobody uses this news....episode or whatever you call it as a way of getting info about AS!
If you push anyone too far they will come out of their corner and lash out. Or kill themselves. Or both. They will certainly have thoughts of revenge. Even normals would do that. But usually they vent it by bullying an Aspergers.
2:24 They make it sound like having "75" exclamation points is excessive, when they are the ones who sat there and counted them. I also do not like how people misunderstand aspergers traits. Like difficulty expressing empathy, gets seen as difficultly having/feeling empathy, like in the law and order episode with the character "Gabriel Duvall". Since he could not feel empathy, he kills and rapes people. aspergers people feel for others, they just don't always know how to tell them.
I find this story offensive. This piece express' that all Aspergers cases are looked at as loose cannons. Never know when they are going to snap. I am a mother of 3 boys. 2 of them are Aspergers. Autism and Aspergers deserve respect. What people don't understand and fear, they will dismiss or attack. With awareness, and information we can seed friendship. Instead of the media posting ignorance. How about post something that may help others understand.

"a young man, with a paintball mask, a cape, and a syndrome..." Sounds like a good tagline for a film

"Seventy Five 'explanation' points"???? How can this coverage even be taken seriously?

I like the Shift+F11 you do at 2:07-2:09.
And seriously, every time someone talks about AS on the news they treat it like it's full-blown autism, not a milder form of it. C'mon, FOX.
