I just got my HTC and I noticed that there is a LED light that flickers when on calls. It is a very dim light that flickers behind the speaker. It isn't noticeable in daylight I noticed it while making a call at night. I took it to Verizon and was told it was the reflection of the sensor behind the screen. Is this normal for every HTC thunderbolt? I also noticed when my screen is lit there is a speck on the right and left corners of the screen where it should be black. This too is only noticable

@TheHorrorTastic From what I've heard, phonedog and other phone reviewers try not to promote rooting because they're getting these phones to demo for free. Telling people to root their phones would be slashing their sponsors by placing a negative view on their partners apps. Again from what I've heard. Also I looked for Thunderbolt root and couldn't find one when I had Android 2.2, just wasn't avaliable

@MOTACJ yes indeed you can remove the bloatware after rooting, i prefer to use titanium backup after rooting, its a great app for getting rid of those crap apps and for doing a complete backup of your phone!

I think thunderbolt is better than Incredible 2! I wasn't sure which phone to get between these two but after doing research and asking around I went for the Tbolt. I don't regret it one bit!

I know there is a battery concern but my battery last about a day possibly a bit more. I just turn off Mobile Network when I'm not using the internet and just turn it on when I need it.
