OH OH OH MY GOD ! THE LAST TIME I SAW THIS WAS WHEN I USED TO LIVE IN CUBA. OH MY GOD IT IS THE SAME !!
OH WOW WOW OH MY EVEN THIS , COMMUNIST COUTRY SHARE. REALLY ! ! OH WOW OH MY WOW IT REMINDS ME ABOUT THE ONLY TWO CHANNELS WE HAVE BACK IN CUBA AND ALL IS CONTROL BY THE GOVERNMENT OH MY MY MY WOW
Gee in Canada until late 70's early 80's they had that Indian Chiefs head !!!! Hey thats great TV better than those lousy sluts u see on those channels at night here in Europe, ugly prostitutes with tattoos, real lowlives and exploiting poor suckers... Long live DPRK
@calisse245 You could say the same thing about US TV. Night Quizzes are the norm in terms of night programming. Oh well, at least some eccentric countries have decided to keep the good ol' testcard!
I'm surprised they have colour, never mind an electonically generated test card. Obviously copied from other test cards from around the world. A bit like everything else they have.
They have a nice character generator font... And a custom testcard :) I thought, they'd be using 5x7 dot-matrix fonts like in ex-GDR or even 7-segment style clocks (Germany democratic republic = East germany) ;)
LOL! It's like traveling back in time when you enter North Korea, O if i was the leader OOO i would make the place even better! And create computers with their own internet!
@AtheismCentral Yes of course they have their own internet... But only for business people and internet cafe with restricted internet. Nothing like YouTube and FacePalm (aka FaceBook)
You came up with that off of the top of your head. Where is your burden of proof? I have one, video evidence exists of North Korean using the internet, people have laptops and PC's, and the internet is not restricted. You are so brainwashed you probally think Kim Jong Il is God there, he is not, he is Chairman of the workers party and has to follow the law like everyone else.
@AtheismCentral What? Your God is Kim Jong fakking Il!? Good for you.
Anwyay, it's restricted you imbecile, internet is not even layed out in half of North Korea. Have you been in North Korea? There is neither wireless. Getting internet is not simple as you think.
You need huge transmitters with wide ranges and huge antenas to take in internet from space satellites. And then again distrubate this because the signal is coded
@AtheismCentral Are you stupid? We'd notice if North Koreans were using the internet without restrictions. The facts of the matter are that they are not. And no, Kim Jong Il IS God there. You don't have to be brainwashed to know that (just watch more clips from KCTV or of Voice of Korea, if you insist all documentaries are propaganda), you just have to not be retarded. Stalinists like you should be disgusted with yourselves for promoting tyranny in the name of a worker's paradise.
This is the current KCTV testcard. During the day North Korean TV simply displays colour bars with no text or identification. 30 minutes before the broadcast sign-on the test card comes up with North Korean popular music playing. At one minute to the start of the broadcast they play the tune in this clip - yes it is the same as the Voice of Korea interval signal.

Of course... The text at the top of the screen simply says "Pyong'yang", the capital.

The TV starts at 5 PM! Wow... Anyways, why bother starting earlier if all the programming is Communist propaganda...

Maybe the regime wants everyone to work before 5pm...and only watch programmes after 5pm...lol
