There is an invoice and it was disclosed it was sold at a loss, so logically this example given, which was supposed to be proof of her tough stewardship of the economy, is both irrelevant, because she LOST profit and is made worse because the GOP distorted her record for a better story.Normally a lie like this would disappear.Bill Clinton found this to be untrue in South Carolina and Hillary sniper fire.Personally,I think a public official should be sanctioned for lying; democrat or republican.

I respect all of your opinions & your right to vote and support whomever you choose. I think the point here is she did only say she "put it on ebay." And days leading up to this speech so did McCain. "Put" it on ebay. But McCain has always been the type of guy to seize a political moment, its called embellishment. His new line is she "SOLD" it (untrue) on ebay and for a "PROFIT" (also untrue) which creates a different impression. Politicians Always DID THIS. YOUTUBE exposes more quickly now.

Does the American public really eat this up? This is a woman that went to 5 colleges over 6 years to earn a bachelors degree. McCain almost flunked out of the Navel Academy finishing 5 from the bottom and bragging about it, then he crashed 5 jets when he served. Obama and Biden both have law degrees, and yet the public falls for the dog and pony show. The people in the USA that are suffering the most by following this election is every person with an intellect.

I guess you have a lot more faith in the integrity of people with law degrees than I have. Lol, lawyer is one of the top 10 least trusted professions, just below used car salesman. My personal experience has taught me that lawyer = professional liar. I'll vote for the non-lawyer every time.

BTW, Bill Gates, the richest and possibly most influential man in the world never graduated from college. So much for educational achievement as the measure of one's intelligence or abilities.

A) If you believe that one of the fundamental things the USA is, a country of laws, then I think a lawyer is not a bad education to be in politics.

B) I don't think comparing success in the market economy with public service is comparing apples and oranges.

This election is one of the worst I've seen with Hollywood, media and celebrity bias.

We all know how Obama plays loose with the facts, and I think McCain is playing him back. As the polls go, it looks like Obama is being owned by his own BS factory. This is my theory.

In her speech Palin plainly states that she "put it on e-bay", not whether or not it was sold there. People are calling her a liar as well; Is she? The facts are clear, it was put on e-bay and eventually sold off site, the price is irrelevant. A sale for $300,000 less than the asking price does not represent a loss either you goofy moonbat. It could very well have been sold at a profit. Do YOU have a copy of the original invoice??
