This guy isn't even teaching from Christian the bible. First of all, Jesus was Jewish. Even religions who don't believe he was God, believe he was Jewish. Secondly, according to the Bible, there are no 'races'. The idea of races came strictly from evolution, not the Bible.
I do hope he isn't getting tax breaks from the government, because as soon as a church starts in with politics, they are supposed to get their tax exemptions cut. The government doesn't need to be funding his racist slander.

Here's a few points about your comment. First I think most of the negative comments are meant about the government even if the word country is used. And though it can make people upset to hear negative things,when you hear stuff like that,don't you wonder why? People have real grievances, but they don't have the power to change things (although many try to). What do you expect them to do? Free speech is a measure of our democracy even if we don't like some of it. (More to say but can't fit.)

We're not perfect. I understand how Obama could be shocked by some of his pastor's words/extreme beliefs. Many of us know, however, pastors are merely HUMAN BEINGS. If you expect them to be perfect, you can "throw in the towel right NOW!" It's not going to happen. God knows I've changed churches, in the past, as often as I've changed my socks. Rev. Jeremiah Wright has explicitly stated his Church was founded on the principles of Liberation Theology (LT), not just black LT, but LT according to "Nicaraguan theologists."
For those unacquainted with LT, it is nothing more than Marxism-Leninism thinly veiled as Christianity. It is a social 'gospel,' NOT a Bible based/Christ centered theology.
Wright has destroyed Obama's chance at the presidency.

That's one of the main reasons why people misinterpret religious messages. If you don't know anything about the Bible, it's very difficult to speak on it, with any kind of authority. In Matthew 15:24 Jesus asserted to a Canaan woman that he was sent to help the Jews-the lost sheep of Israel 1st-not the Gentiles! The message was later expanded to include ALL people but make no mistake that Jesus speaks about the importance of helping the poor throughout the Bible.

600,000 men died for civil rights? What about the numbers with regards to black citizens that fought in the Civil War, World War 1, World War 2, The Korean War, and Vietnam to name a few major conflicts? Black people didn't fight for freedom?
The Europeans soon realized that it was much easier to take the Africans with force. Who did the white Americans fight to abolish slavery? The Chinese?
If your going to tell a story, tell it from both sides.

well the slave trade ended because its was no long economicly good for the usa britain france and spain. and white poeple did not stop slavery because they care about black poeple.

Is either you are the most ignorant person on earth or just very foolish. Go read books written by Africans historians from Africa. The blacks never sold eachother to slavery, they where taken with deceit and force using religion and arm forces and at some point the white where going to villages and rading Africans and loading off. After a while many of this slaves start to reproduce in their slave colony, hence you have mass spread of slave across the world. Ge inform stupid.
