  • Aries is going up from here for sure. He's the BEST worker in TNA right now. If he doesn't get a higher push soon, I feel like he will be headed over to the WWE sooner than later. Especially since the WWE is listening more to CM Punk now

  • I don't know why Aries isn't in the WWE, whether it be his choice, or WWE not liking his size or whatever. But, I think he's perfect for the WWE. He can have great matches, but he's got great charisma, awesome character. I don't see why his size would hurt him anymore considering the champs are CM Punk and Danielson. Also Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes are gaining momentum. He'd be a great fit.

  • @AmericanWolves13 I'd like to see Aries in WWE too. I consider him and CM Punk to be the most colorful personalities in all of professional wrestling, combining skill and charisma like no other wrestler can. Punk was the one who pinned Aries to win the ROH World Championship at Death Before Dishonor III. A rivalry in WWE between the two of them would be beyond awesome. Which song is more arrogant, Cult Of Personality or Greatest Man That Ever Lived? Whose ego will shatter the other?

  • @CMY187 Their Match at DBD III is one of my favorites ever. Everything about the match from it being Punk's "last" match, to the match itself, and the shock of him winning, to the post match promo. It was just an amazing moment.

  • That's because Johnny Ace is a fucking moron

  • He's easily one of the most talented wrestlers in the world right now, and it's fucking criminal that the WWE haven't picked him up.

  • This guy is awesome!

  • Who are you kidding Ares, you were born to wrestle. You couldn't walk away even if you wanted to.

  • Without A Double, ROH is nothin

  • Austin aries looks and sounds similar to cm punk

    both have similar physics

    both can talk

    best wishes

  • @peckerdecker

Aries is smaller though. If he was only 6'2 instead WWE would have signed him ages ago.

    Shame really.

  • Unlike Hogan, Aries has done his part for professional wrestling, so if he decides to shift to sports entertainment companies or a Hollywood career, no one can call him a sell-out. Still, TNA has undermined him before and probably will again. The only person who can give Aries a push in TNA is Aries himself. Not very often do you see a guy who is both an excellent professional wrestler AND sports entertainer. Aries in TNA, Punk in WWE. Corporate wrestling has never been this interesting.

  • He belongs in IMPACT Wrestling!!!!!!

  • @TheTNAPhenomenal1 No... TNA sucks ass. Its fucking mess. WWE is so much better.

  • I can't blame Aries. Independant wrestling seems like the thing that is cool for a period of time, but I still feel WWE could get Aries. He's llike the same age as CM Punk, a big prospect there, great worker, and sice guys like Danielson, Tyler Black, Sin Cara, Matt Sydal and even Jon Moxley have signed with WWE, he may get picked up with some other guys. Plus the dragon gate USA gig may get him some major appearences in Japan, and he could gain a following there. his style seems japanese base

  • Is this dude vegan?

  • @ar4216 Vegetarian.

  • I love all the people bashing WWE for not picking Aries when Ring of Honor is the company that fucking released him.

  • austin plz cum bk 2 roh u r far to good of a wrestler 2 b jobbing in tna r wwe and u r the ONLY 2 TIMES ROH CHAMP LETS MAKE IT A 3RD

  • Good luck Austin Aries, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and hope that you may reach prime success in whatever you choose to pursue.

  • That's a damn shame.

  • Austin is great.

  • I would rather see Austin Aries in movies than John Cena

I have only gone to independent shows and will only support them

Why go to WWE and leave depressed?

  • @armandmax to each his own

  • You know the wrestling business in going in the shitter when the greatest indy wrestler (and my personal favorite of all) can't get his big break after a decade of classic matches. AA is just one of the few incredible wrestlers that still hasn't and probably never will get to headline a sold out show at a big venue like Madison Square Garden or the Staples Center. I don't blame wrestlers like him because they have the talent. I blame the major promotions for not spotting a gem like this guy.

  • @TheBigBadGRIM I love how you fail to reprimand ROH for releasing him

  • WWE didn't pick the talent, the USA Network did. It's stupid, but don't blame WWE!

  • @LilTallahassee Why would USA network choose the people?

  • Are the WWE retarded?

  • @marchinguptogether1 You call WWE retarded yet ROH is the company that released him

  • @Sneezlebob First of all, I take back calling WWE retarded, because I now realise they weren't picking the contestants to go through. And secondly if my comment was

    Are ROH retarded?

that would have nothing to do with the video. So why I have called ROH retarded in this video?

  • @marchinguptogether1 What does calling WWE retarded have to do with the video?

Aries wouldn't be so depressed if ROH didn't fucking release him.

  • @Sneezlebob As I already said I take back calling the WWE retarded. But my original thought was that WWE were retarded because They could not have found a better contestant on Tough Enough. Aries has great mic skills and great in ring ability.

  • @marchinguptogether1 who selected?

  • @IDante1Savage I think it was the network airing Tough Enough in America. I'm not even sure what network airs it though cause I'm not from America.

  • This has nothing to do with Tough Enough, cause WWE f'd up AA which was wrong. But to have a career in the big time, you must be "____this size" to have a chance at making it. And if youre as small like Mr Aries, you better be a one in a million special talent to make it. Why is it that 99% of the wrestlers who get disgruntled are usually his size? They work the indies, then eventually end up making these statements. So please. I think Aries is very good, but he's not THAT good.

  • I just read that it wasn't WWE who picked a talent, it was USA or some shit like that.... I don't know how true it is, but there is always that.

  • maybe austin should gain a new persona and move into fcw, well if they let him, if cm punk, bryan danielson, and tyler black can do it austin aries certainly can.

  • @grate4life gimmicks typically are given by the creative team and you are aware FCW is a WWE training territory right. Austin by WWE standards doesnt fit.. theres not cruiserweight division so he'd be stuck in the background like most (not all but most) of the smaller talent does when they get to WWE.

  • @TheHeelHook why else would i mention fcw if i didnt know it was the training facility for wwe, what do you think im stupid or something, and not anyone can make it in the wwe, they just have to have the right set up thats all. you cant just go in there with plain good wrestling and expect yourself to get a contract.

  • pause at 7 seconds he has a huge nose.

  • @shortdude1326 One of the Briscoes Broke it a couple years ago.

  • A double , the greatest man ever lived !!!!!!!!!

  • Damn WWE. You had a shot to put on a great product and bring in the next generation to your company put aparently its just going to be NXT and they'll pretend its a reality show. Fuck Tough Enough, Your too good for them Austin.

  • I can completely understand and appreciate what Aries is saying, God bless humans like him. Aries has easily been one of my favorite wrestlers in the last 10 years, and the fact that he didn't make it into one company (WWE) doesn't take anything away from his amazing career.

I'm moving up in movie/tv production, got some gigs with Disney and such. If Aries fits into something I'll be sure to drop his name, hell who knows. Best luck moving forward.

  • wwe actually didn't select the roster for tough enough. USA Network chose the casting

  • Mr. Aries, what about Japan or Mexico?

Im sure Konnan is the booker of AAA &im sure he will know who your are, im not that sure but it looks like Teddy hart & jack Evans make a living down there.

In Japan Giant Bernard & Prince Devitt are just two examples of sucess stories.

  • If Tyler Black can go straight to FCW, so can Austin Aries.

  • Lemons.

  • Would've been cool to here about how Tough Enough worked but I am sure they had Austin sign some agreements.

I live in MN so hopefully I'll see you around.

This is a depressing time for indy wrestlers since Jimmy Jacobs just sent out a similar yet sadder video.

  • Would've been cool to here about how Tough Enough worked but I am sure they had Austin sign some agreements.

I live in MN so hopefully I'll see you around.

  • If he focused on learning how to draw money instead of just having great matches for the sake of having them, them maybe one of the big 3 would actually employ him.

  • sorry you did'nt make it.maybe wwe will keep you in mind and give you a call some other time.i would'nt go back to tna if i was you even if they asked,it's a sinking ship.

best of luck on whatever you are doing.

  • @SNAKEEYESSAM So I guess you'd prefer him to be at Walmart than to be on TNA.

  • Go back to ROH. Its respectable wrestling. WWE will call again and TNA is a joke

  • @BIGGPHILL ROH obviously doesnt pay enough, WWE isnt hiring anybody over 30 years old now apparently. Call TNA a joke all you what but alot of the TNA talent would be Austin Aries exact situation right now if TNA was not around.

Vince McMahon monopolised the business & Austin Aries is casualty of this just like many other of your favourite indie stars.

  • I still don't understand why WWE wouldn't want him.... he is entertaining as fuck on the Mic & in the ring.... hell he is the only multiple time RoH champion. They sure as hell dropped the ball on that one.

  • @TheShadowBrigade He's 32 yrs old. They don't want them that old.

  • WWE and TNA make yet another bad decision... You're a great talent my friend.

  • Austin Aries>WWE (Wanabe Wrestlers Entertaining)

  • I wouldn't mind seeing "Total Nonstop Aries" ;D

  • @HabboMansionRecords Man....id rather see him in wwe.....even though i hate wwe i think they would use Aries better than TNA.....look at homoicide,Lowki,Chris Daniels,Joe and Wolfe......they wont go anywhere.....in the end wwe rejects will enter the company and kick them off the show......thats why TNA sucks

  • @ECWHavoc Yeah because guys the age and size that of Aries that enter WWE so totally do well in WWE. *CONFUSED*. He has no shot in WWE. If they wanted his ass, they would've brought him up from ROH a long time ago. His best bet is to go to TNA and join Fortune or something.

  • Go back to TNA, at least you will be on television. That X-Div needs help.

  • No matter what you do I will always support it Austin Aires.

  • when life gives you "LEMONS!", make that shit into lemonade

  • try japan AURIES WWE sucks it's made in the usa purely and it's owned by one of the worst buisness man to ever grace the earth vince mccmahon .... no wonder everything he touches is a failure look at his product

  • @hayabusafmw you call a failure a billion dollar company ? jEEEEzuzzz

  • I probably should add Davey's best ever singles match was with Aries.

  • Aries got me back into wrestling.

And i dont care what others say

    .

Austin Aries > Davey Richards. Davey's best matches dont touch Aries'.

  • Austin Aries>People who will be on Tough Enough

    PLEASE DON'T GO!

  • damn....he lost his smile

I think if they can let taker wrestling until he's damn near fifty and batista get his career started at age 40 basically, a 32 year old indy star who actually can wrestle could be a great asset in the E for atleast 7 years. Imagine him atleast being US/IC champ, making that belt mean something or in a good tag team helping make the tag belts look less like jokes. Austin Aries deserves a run...

  • Vince is jelous because he ain't the greatest man that ever lived.

  • @Koshceck1 even austin aries his theme song owns most of the stuff wwe sends us I want A-double back in roh as soon as they get on tv next to robert roode the only good thing going on in tna now in the title picture is austin aries for the rest I enjoy styles daniels and samoa joe and bully ray that's about it

  • One of the best wrestlers to never catch a break.

  • best wishes for you and your future ....with much love dude

  • austin is one of the best,i hope he comes back

  • Dude, just go down to FCW and show them what you've got there! The greatest man who ever lived's too good for Tough Enough.

  • @ExplosivoFueled He can't go to FCW unless he actually has a developmental deal

  • LEMONS

  • A Double, thank you for everything you've given to WRESTLING, screw entertainment. If all they can find is Rima Fakim then that is not the show you wanted to be on. It may well end up being a disgrace to WRESTLING not unlike most of what WWE is doing these days. Good luck in everything you do we the fans appreciate your work no matter where or what it is.

  • Austin Aries can be in WWE don't give it will come with time. Wrestling is something your good at stick with it.

  • A Double is way better then WWE, you are the fuckin man

  • Austin Aries on Tough Enough? really? Is he out of his mind? he needs to be running the damn training...what's Trish gonna teach him? how to bend over backwards? please..they didnt cast him cuz they have nothing to teach him...sign him to a contract and give him a belt...end of discussion

  • Just know that I support you, Austin. You do what makes you happy. Good luck in life, and thanks for all that you do!

  • i'm sorry i made fun of your facial hair a few months ago. you are real awesomy awesome. don't give up hope.

  • Best of luck at whatever you are doing, Austin. I just hope that you are happy and content in the long run.

  • I understand you man us Aries never settle.

  • forget WWE Austin... they bull shitted man they gave Rima Fakim a spot but kept guys like Aries and Joey Ryan out... it's all a joke if legit guys who WORK WELL dont the bid then it's not worth so good luck bro always have and will be 1 of my favs

  • @TheHeelHook well obviously they'd do that because both aries and joey are fully trained wrestlers so they wouldn't NEED to be in tough enough.

  • @TheHeelHook Do you really think he cares if WWE is a joke or not? He wants those WWE paychecks, just like everyone.

  • @OriginalLawnmower You must not know any wrestler in real life. Yes everyone wants to be in WWE cause thats when you know you've made it but it's not always about the money. I hate when I see ppl sayin that or writing that, a lot of these indy guys do it for the love of the business and the pay check is an added bonus. And dont over generalize not EVERYONE is in it for that check. So lets not go there.

  • @TheHeelHook wwe had no say in the selection. some other tv netork that will air tough enough did. and they picked some indy stars which is good.

  • @TheHeelHook Why the fuck would Aries or Joey Ryan be on Tough Enough? It's for people new to the business with very little experience or 0 experience at all.

Why would 2 already established stars be on the show rather than someone looking to learn.

  • Good Luck Mr. Aries. I wish you the best. We appreciate all the hard work you've given to the independent wrestling scene over the years.

  • Best of luck in what you do, A Double, glad to hear this isn't a retirement.

  • you're the man A double.

Whatever you do, best wishes, and of course we want you making a name for yourself, either on wrestling or anywhere else.

    greets

  • I selfishly hope wrestling provides you the best opportunities to keep moving onward and upward (especially if it means some shows in Toronto) but whichever direction it ends up being onward I hope the upward trajectory hits damn near vertical.

  • i say Mr. Aries is too good for Tough Enough

  • @DGenerationMC of course he's too good...Hell, he's too good for WWE in general, let alone TE. Hell, too good? he's simply THE GREATEST MAN THAT EVER LIVED

  • @ShamusShamrock don't froget about the Best in the World.....do u think Joey Ryan and A Double would be an awesome tag team? yea that would dominate WWE's tag team division ... oh wait i meant WWE's THREE sorry ass, thrown together teams

  • @DGenerationMC of course it is ! Tough Enough is a tv show where participants undergo professional wrestling training and compete for a contract with WWE. Do you think Aries needs training? I dont think so.

  • @godzilaa14eu actually a lot of the guys in previous TE incarnations were already workers on the indy scene. For example, The Miz was already wrestling for 2 years when he was on TE4

  • @ShamusShamrock i'm getting your point, but dont even compare miz then to aries now :P

  • @DGenerationMC too charismatic

  • So happy to hear you're not retiring!

  • You are good in all there you do. Good Luck In Your Future

  • Love this guy!!
