Its very dangerous if not used properly! a 7,5 Joule airgun penetrates flesh and will stop at bones causing serious injuries, trust me i know... If shot in the eye or neck it might be deadly. This is not a toy, its a gun.

You might be better off with a good airsoft Gun if you are under the age of 18.

you can only get 150 shots out of 88 Gram CO2 Capsules with this gun.

i'm so upset coz the gun cost me £345. With scope,gas/88 Gram CO2 Capsule & pellets it cost me £375 :-(. And on the box it say you can get up two 400 shots WTF. I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THE GAS.

@FOATE It normally uses an 88 gram CO2 cartridge, but the converter does allow you to use two 12g cartridges instead. The 12g is less shots vs the 88g. (around 60 to 80 vs 180 to 250) There is also a quicker drop off in velocity. (obviously, since it allows for less shots) It is definitely one of the highest quality rifles on the market today. Lots of people around the office here own them for their personal use.

People have been saying it's better to get a PCP rifle like the benjamin discovery over this rifle, for better accuracy and power, but i dunno. I just fell in love with the airmagnum when i saw it. Besides that i think it's better to buy something in the 800 euro/dollar pricerange when you're buying a PCP.

What bipod are you using and would you recomend that walther scope?

@brucelundie the bipod i am unsure of , but I use a harris bipod that i mounted with a harris nr.4 adaptor, its better to invest in a high-quality bipod, this harris will last me the rest of my life. As with investing in bipods, it goes Triple for scopes-more money-more quality, Leapers are some of the best for airguns (my favorite by far) without spending tons of money on Leoupold scopes, i would NOT recomened a walther scope, if you can't spend the money, buy a cheap Leapers.. Hope this helps.

Just depends on what your goals are. It is likely that the .22 would stop larger game than the .177 if that is what you are asking.

@plunkmaster a caliber is the diameter of the projectile used to shoot. for instance, a .177 caliber airgun's barrel is

.177 inches in diameter and shoots .177' pellets. In the US calibers are mesured my inches, in all other countries mm is used, i.e. .22 caliber in US is 5,5 kaliber in the rest of the world.

there is no 'better' one. every1 has there own opinions. .22 hits harder but the .177 has a flatter trajectory and dosent drop so much as the .22 over distance. whatever the calibre if you hit a bunny,squirrel or pigeon with a headshot its going down.
