You miss my point entirely. Nebraska is a football school. Kansas is a basketball school that isn't supposed to be good at football. So what has recent history shown? Nebraska, when it beats KU, having to squeak out a measly ten point victory. When KU beats Nebraska, they destroyed Nebraska setting Big 12 records in the process. Football may come and go at KU because we are a basketball school, but football is supposed to be your bread and butter and you can't even count on that anymore.

I know this is hard for you to accept, but your school is now second fiddle in the conference to Texas, Oklahoma, and even Missouri. The later the bowl, the better. Sure, there are a few scrub bowls played after 1/1 but the bowls that have been around and established themselves are the ones played on New Years and beyond. And it does matter because it gives you more practices to gel as a team, a primetime slot for the nation to see you on 1/1, and for us, a game in Florida which is a recruiting hotbed and will be a great help in that area. And like I said, find me the team in any sport that has never struggled at times.
