what dude meant was the cyberdemons are actually friendly NPCs if you add the dehacked patch, and the lost soul replacements wont moonwalk. Doom mods from back in the day had to have DeHackEd patches in order to use engine hacks, and the way this guy edited it, the enemies are basically a bunch of different doom enemies mashed together. (the lost soul replacement is a mix of the zombie man and the lost soul code mixed together with the sprites edited so it appears as one monster.)

I like your commentary over the video. You're not annoying and the review actually seems well thought out. However, the drum solo (I'm not sure if its you or the game) and the random bits of audio clips are very annoying. They break up the review making it hard to hear what you say at times and they are VERY loud. Other than that I liked the video.

Hi, actually you loaded it wrong. It's a great mod, the zombies must not be Cyberdemons, of corse! I played it like 4 or 5 times and I really loved it. You loaded it wrong with ZDoom, it happened to me, and I solved it, but I don't remember how. It has a really good story, but horrible graphics too because it uses Doom source. Try to play it with DosBox and then make a new review of it. I tell you it deserves another chance!

The graphics don't matter in any way, and as a doomer you should know that.

if the gameplay was good, this would be basically a custom doom map pack and I wouldnt have even reviewed it. But this guy packed several hundred bosses into every room for reasons unknown, and didnt even give the players the right guns for the job.

I admit I got carried away a bit. The thing is, you're going all down on this mod, but the things you're ranting about are all errors occuring because you didn't properly load it. Normally there's a dehacked patch in the zip. When applied the mod will play properly. I suggest you download it from doomworld . com / idgames to make sure you get the patch this time. You'll see the mod actually isn't that bad ;)

@Rabyte There was no dehacked patch that came with the mod pack that I got this from. every other mod either had one or worked without it, even SWAT doom which is notoriuos for being damn hard to run. I'll try to see if any version has a dehacked patch. If any do and the games gameplay wasnt really broken, I'll re review it in a more positive light.

@FanTazTiCxD allot of it is for comedic effect. its an LP video after all. Im trying to end up a bit more like AVGN than one of those guys who just sits there and plays the game and doesn't really say anything negative. I personally find rage to be funnier than just gameplay.

Umm... actually please DON'T review anything else you stupid fucking red neck, if all your going to do is shit all over games for your entertainment. Rather stick to Modern Warfare 2. This was made in 1994 and for it's time it was still good. This was one of the pioneers of DooM total conversion mods, and that in itself is impressive. It also looks like your not using the dehacked patch to run it in, and so that would explain the glitches like the flying Michael Jackson turning back into a soul

1. I dont have a southern accent. You must have not been down south in a while.

2. modern warfare 2 is a crappy fanboy game.

3. The problem with this game is that in all the versions ive found in my googling (some of which worked slightly better) the game play is still the same with the seven billion bosses everywhere. the glitched graphics would mean nothing if the gameplay was good.

when i first played, i thought it was retarted. not long later, i realised you had to have both Zombies.WAD and Zombies.Deh at the same time!! otherwise this happens...it's pretty good, you just have to play it right.

I downloaded this mod just to play it for how bad it is, you know look at it in a so bad it's funny type of way, and believe it or not, I managed to get to the second level. It's an apartment building. I try and make a video and post it as a response tomorrow or sometime later in the week. But none of the cheats work in the version I got.

There's an area labeled "Exit" but there's no exit in that area. No clipping did nothing either. I'm pretty sure you might have to kill every thing in the whole place (there isn't enough ammo for that without cheats) in order to exit.

@marioworlstudios You could try entering idclev12 (or idclev02 depending on if this is for Doom/Ultimate Doom or Doom II) to see the next level and idclev13 (idclev03) for the third, etc.
