Some people refer this kind of cat behavior as "making bread." They only do that when they are happy and comfortable. My cat does that quite a lot (on top of my legs or tummy).
my cat does that to me =='.. and my friends.. except likes to bite onto our knees or hips.. is that normal.. i stopped him from sitting on my lap cause thats all he does..
