@drearonnell2 to go to world 4 u have to kill fimal boss of world 2 in tiny mode! and for world 7 u have to kill the final boss of world 5 in tiny mode again!!!

at 4:44 (lol) you finish the level but it wil be way faster if you walljump the pipe into the flag, (or thats what i always do...)

What part are you refering to? At 3:01 I didn't wall jump because I get better control and acceleration after hitting the orange ? Switch and avoid touching the rising water too soon.

1# how to you get more then one star on a complete file?

2# how do you get those cool moves for luigi! (can you get them for mario too?)

3# are there anyother cool things you can UNLOCK by doing certain things?

@Lunerlol Oh you mean the double and triple jump? That easy. Start dashing and when you get up to full speed jump. Just as you hit the floor jump again (Make sure you never stop dashing.). And one last time, as soon as you hit the floor jump. This takes a lot of practice. The cool moves happen automatically when you do this. This can work for both Luigi and Mario. hope it helps! ;)

Nope, the flag has to come down first before the plumber jumps off.

You will only lose time if:

* You grab the flag pole above the actual flag.

* You face to the right before grabbing the pole.

@lee155912000 A few hours of practise but not a lot, the game is pretty easy to speed run when you get to know the key spots to jump, etc.

At 4:45, wouldn't wall-jumping off the pipe, which you come out of, be faster?

Yes it is slightly faster but I was worried that I would finish the course with a 444 remaining (which can trigger fireworks followed by a extra mushroom house on the world map).

Do you think you could get A LOT faster with mini on 2-A?

Maybe but there are a few cons for doing it.

* Smaller size means it's harder to get the first star coin without slowing down/changing direction.

* The next course (2-4) has loads of traps like P.Plants

* The chance of getting a mini shroom from a red ? box on 2-4 is extremely low :(.

but you can finish world 2-A after you completed world 2-4 secret exit.

@MrIvan97 Interesting idea. Do 2-A the same visit as I do 2-4 Secret Exit and 2-Castle secret exit. The only problem is that I can't afford to get a hit and 2-4 (when getting a mini mushroom) requires some luck.

At the "select a file" screen, keep pressed L and R buttons and choose one of your saved game files with the A button.

Now you'll play in the game as Luigi instead of Mario!

I collect every star coins in all of the levels I've played in this segment. Some stages has 2 exits so I sometimes collect all 3 on the first exit (and none on the second exit) and I sometimes split up the star coins on both exits (2 on the first exit, 1 on the other exit, etc).

you can reach the top f the flag. all you have to do is not get the coins and press the P thing in the box. if you press the p thing all coins turn to brick and all bricks turn to coins

You hold the Y/X button to dash. You can't change direction when inside the blue shell instantly. You can change direction quickly when you bounce off from a wall.
