World rally car's are other beasts and completely different races. You can be an oval fan, and I respect all car racing, but in no way you can compare rallys to oval competition.
I suggest you to search and watch all the "WRC97 ONBOARD" vids, that is rally at its finest.
A "world championship" in driving in the woods and sliding around dirt trails. Like I said,, put him in a 600 hp late model stock car and see how long he lasts.
Sainz better stay in Spain. He is the an embarrassment the the title of " race driver". The late model stock car boys would eat him alive on an oval track. NASCAR would laugh him out. He crashes and rolls more than anybody I've ever seen.
He is a 2 time word champion in the most difficult and competitive times of WRC so don't talk BS about things you obviously don't have any idea. Oval tracks? I would like to see an Oval track driver in a rally. They wouldn't last 3 curves.
i'd usually support this opinion because i really admire the skill involved in rally racing, but jimmie johnson and jjeff gordon did really well in the 2002 race of champions

It tells me he can look better in rally type competition than in the heat of an oval track battle. The competition isn't as tough in rally.

Robbie Gordon comes from NASCAR and does fair in rallys but the NASCAR guys make him look like a punk so what does that tell you?

Robbie Gordon has raced in Dakar and Baja . But not in a WRC track or WRC car.
Are you saying that it's a lesser championship, or that it's easy to drive a WRC?

drivers of oval track are very bad. WRC drivers forever. And Carlos Sainz is the best driver of the history.
