Actually at first I didnt really like Mulan just because it was kinda boring for me when I was little and i didnt really know what was going on. I actually have a friend whose life became like a Cinderella story she used to be a nanny for some children and sense the mother wasn't around much longer the guy started to have feelings for her it's so sweet now her life is fantastic she buys what she wants she travels wherever she wants to and it's all because she kept on believing in heart that her life will get better :)

If you think about it, people are more into questioning and proving things than beleiving in fantasy. Adults pass this on to their kids and have them become more analytical, rational, and sometimes pessimistic.

Ya'll want to know the real reason Disney has changed. First off when Disney died all the creativity and magic was gone. But not only that, he died in the mid 60s. When America changed completely. We got some good things out of it like the Civil Rights movement and peace and all that. But along the way people started to rebel sometimes for good cause and sometimes just for the hell of it. old school morals were thought of as not important. The movie industry mirrors the world.

I grew up in the 90's and most kids liked stuff like Cinderella, Snow White, Bambi etc... which were made WAY before the 90's. If a kid grows up with something, they will (more often than not) enjoy it. The older movies actually had good lifelong messages, which is something the newer movies lack.
