Wow, some of the comments here are pretty horrid. Are we forgetting that we are actually talking about people: men and women with souls and hearts. The quality of a soul and a character does not rely on the color of the skin. Skin color says nothing except a bit of cursory information about where the person is from but even that is sketchy. Good writing would show characters as they are with strong characters and flaws, deep personalities irregardless of coloring.
